Aaron Judge may be ready for the New York Yankees’ wild-card series, after all.
One day after manager Aaron Boone said that the team is planning as if its star slugger won’t be ready for the start of the postseason due to a calf injury, Judge himself said he intends to be available for Game 1.
“That’s what the plan is,” Judge told ESPN’s Jorge Castillo on Wednesday. “Try to get my body ready so I’m ready to go.”
