Zay Flowers is expected to play without a hard snap restriction for the Baltimore Ravens against the Tennessee Titans, according to an ESPN source, easing concerns over the wide receiver’s lingering hamstring issue.
ESPN senior NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler reported Sunday that Flowers is “good to go” for the Week 4 matchup and that a hard pitch count is not anticipated. Flowers operated under a limited snap count in the Ravens’ Week 3 win over the Dallas Cowboys after dealing with the same hamstring problem.
Injury background and practice status
Flowers has been limited by the hamstring for much of the early 2026 season and has appeared in only two games, playing roughly 31 percent of Baltimore’s offensive snaps. He entered the week listed as questionable after an uneven practice schedule: limited participation Wednesday, full participation Thursday, and limited again Friday (with rest noted on the injury report). The Ravens treated him as a game-time decision the previous week before clearing him to play.
The latest reporting indicates the team does not plan to impose the same strict snap limit he faced against Dallas. Official inactives are typically released about 90 minutes before kickoff.
Role in the Ravens offense
When available, Flowers has been one of the more explosive options in the league, ranking among the leaders in yards per reception among qualifying receivers (reported around 23.4). His speed and ability to create after the catch give offensive coordinator Declan Doyle a vertical and horizontal threat that stretches defenses and opens space for other targets.
If Flowers plays a fuller complement of snaps, Baltimore can more effectively use motion and route combinations to pressure the Titans’ secondary. Rashod Bateman, Devontez Walker, and tight end Mark Andrews remain the primary alternatives if Flowers’ workload is managed or if he is limited late in the game. Chris Moore (ankle) is also listed as questionable, which could further thin the receiver group.
Game and fantasy implications
The Titans enter the matchup winless but competitive. Flowers’ availability strengthens the Ravens’ ability to attack both deep and underneath. Betting markets have listed props for Flowers in the range of receptions and receiving yards, reflecting an expectation that he sees the field.
For fantasy managers, the update moves him closer to a standard start in formats where he was previously a risky play due to the pitch-count concern. Workload remains the main variable to monitor once the game begins, as hamstring issues can still flare even without a pre-set snap limit.
The Ravens host the Titans in a Week 4 game with kickoff scheduled for early afternoon Eastern time. Flowers’ final status will be confirmed with the inactive list closer to game time.
