Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will require surgery for the thumb injury he suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills and will be placed on injured reserve, head coach Jesse Minter said postgame, per FOX Baltimore’s Morgan Adsit.
The injury could “potentially” end Jackson’s season, Minter added. He’s required to miss at least four games by going on IR.
Jackson sustained the injury on Baltimore’s first offensive play, when his hand hit a Bills defender as he followed through on a pass attempt.
