2022 Champions League draw results: Barcelona, Bayern, Inter in group of death

2022 UEFA Champions League group stage will have Robert Lewandowski facing his former club Bayern Munich after the German giants were placed with his new club Barcelona in Group C. Those two teams are in the consensus group of death with Inter Milan and Viktoria Plzen joining them. Additionally, Erling Haaland will play for Manchester City against his former club Borussia Dortmund as they were placed in Group G with Sevilla and FC Copenhagen.

Reigning champions Real Madrid received a favorable draw with RB Leipzig, Shakhtar Donetsk and Celtic, while Liverpool, last season’s runners-up, are in Group A with Ajax, Napoli and Rangers.

Group B: Porto, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and Club Brugge

Group C: Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Viktoria Plzen

Group D: Frankfurt, Tottenham Hotspur, Sporting Lisbon and Marseille

Group E: AC Milan, Chelsea, RB Salzburg, Donamo Zagreb

Group F: Real Madrid, RB Leipzig, Shakhtar Donetsk and Celtic

Group G: Manchester City, Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund and FC Copenhagen

Group H: PSG, Juventus, Benfica and Maccabi Haifa
