Real Madrid, one of the most iconic football clubs in the world, has officially launched a new project aimed at discovering the next wave of soccer stars—this time in the United States. In response to the growing pipeline of American talent heading to Europe, the Spanish giants will hold a series of tryouts across the country this summer.
The Goal: Build a U.S.-Born ‘Dream Team’
More than 1,000 players aged 18 to 19 are expected to participate in the initiative, all hoping to earn a coveted spot on Real Madrid’s “Dream Team.” Those selected will travel to Spain to train at the club’s world-renowned Ciudad Real Madrid training center, home to some of football’s greatest names.
National Tour Schedule
The talent search kicks off on June 17 in Dallas and will run through July 24, concluding in Los Angeles. Camps will also be held in:
• Philadelphia
• Washington, D.C.
• Chicago
Each stop will host up to 250 players, offering a month-long evaluation period that will test skills, tactical awareness, and potential for elite development.
A Growing American Footprint in Europe
This ambitious program reflects Real Madrid’s strategic interest in the U.S. soccer market, which has produced rising stars like Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, and Gio Reyna. With U.S. players increasingly making headlines in top European leagues, the timing of this initiative underscores the nation’s emerging status as a global football talent pool.
For American players, it’s a dream opportunity—and for Real Madrid, it’s a bold investment in the future of the game.
