Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield sustained a left shoulder injury during Sunday’s 34-7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said postgame that Mayfield sprained his non-throwing shoulder, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. An MRI will determine the extent of the injury Monday.
Mayfield hurt himself in the second quarter but was able to play through it in the first half. However, he was in pain on the final play of the second quarter after attempting a long pass with the Bucs down 31-7.
