The Cleveland Browns are open to giving Shedeur Sanders an extended look as their starting quarterback, similar to the run Dillon Gabriel got earlier in the season, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
However, much of that decision will be dictated by how Sanders looks against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Schefter adds.
The Browns were reportedly impressed with Sanders in his first career start last week. He completed 11 of 20 passes for 209 yards with one touchdown and one interception in a 24-10 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
