The No. 7 Oregon Ducks overcame an early deficit to rout the USC Trojans 56-24 on Saturday night in a Pac-12 football matchup at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
The Ducks shrugged off a 10-0 USC lead early to absolutely dominate the game the rest of the way. Justin Herbert finished 21 of 26 for 225 yards with three touchdowns and one interception.

Turner cast welcome back to the sports guys come on as we were talking about you’re right USC had talent but a whole lot of them had a massive amount of injuries Oregon I think it was their best game I mean what were your thoughts um yeah final score would definitely indicate that it was their best game um it was kind of weird cuz you know when my team plays I sometime like usually like you know worried I like you know I just pins it I don’t know I tend to get worried it’s kind of like I’ve done it when my team plays it and I get nervous I think they’re gonna lose or or no it’s gonna be a close one but for some reason going into this game I wasn’t at all and every time you know I’d hear predictions that the Trojans are gonna win I mean they’re actually the national media like game day when they picked two of the four guys Herbstreit Desmond Howard picks USD and and I saw count on Howard jump I attack and power pick USC and and a decent amount of people out there were picking USD but I remember is one that I heard that it’s not accurately broke down how it’s going to go with the cover three podcast parts them as a Tom throughout finale and they both said you know what I just think us organs gonna hit them in the mouth and they’re gonna they’re gonna quit oh and you know that’s what happened honestly that’s what happened if you could break down the game to as much as just that little premise of dates you would be hit organ they came out with a ten nothing lead Justin Herbert was one for five threw an interception that gave them first and goal at Oregon like eight they had the ball USC they were past midfield about ready to possibly go up 17 to nothing and you know kings all this made a bad pass he threw it they got tipped and her own McKinley intercepted it and Oregon they went down and Herbert had 11 yard touchdown run and then us he gets the ball back and they drive all the way down the field have the ball third and goal drain kohlberg strips acts keeps mullets and it falls recover forever a degree and then Oregon takes the ball 95 yards scores on a Jalen red three yard run and then you see extolled us immediately come back and throw a pick six – Brady Brees and you could just I could you see at that moment and it was 21 10 it scored 21 points in a matter of I don’t know seven minutes I don’t know what it was exactly and I was thinking I’m like just give me a blow out this is gonna be long because this your seat or he got hitting them out and instead of quitting they came back and they hit us see in the mouth and USC they just seemed to be from one and then you know at that point I was totally thinking missing Meatwad and then you SCE gets helped on the next possession by like three personal foul penalty for something like that by Oregon including like a 30 yard sportsmen life by awesome value I’m other than that Series in him there were so many penalties in the first half is confusing but it was really ugly at the end and people are losing their emotions and actually USD scored and that was like well maybe they didn’t class thought they were gonna quit and then they kicked the suit kick off off and the Cal right heralded forced our kids house calls it doesn’t even get touched like USC was clearly thinking they’re going to not return it or something because they I mean he to get touched and I knew at 28 17 I’m like guaranteed this game’s gonna it’s the organ gonna win and I and undoubtedly second half they scored the first for possession to jump out to a 56:17 lead Herbert threw two three he threw total three touchdowns of John Johnson I think it was two in the second half no no no no no it’s three in the second half he threw three top shelves in second after JaJuan Johnson and you could tell like SunGard I’m like Johnson’s likes a drought slant route crossing pattern for 37-yard touchdown and it was done it was over and and they got him out and they were gone it was this you know what you can say about the organ team right now is you know I don’t you know I haven’t been a fan of everything that Mario Cristobal is done I still think it’s in game coaching sometimes in his management is a little bit less desire to get weird used to just live out you know the week before against Washington stayed called pontine when he was deep in the corn in territory and then Washington State ended up going ahead this was some weird stuff there’s one thing that is very noticeable is the kids really like to play for us and they do not quit that’s good and no matter how the game is going Oregon is going to be there for four quarters and that really showed the other night was bigger his mouth but they came back and they hit you a C and USD straight up when they quit and they got ran out of the Coliseum and that’s probably the swamp all for clay Helton he’s might get fired anyway he’s definitely fired now and Oregon you know they have three games left in the regular season these three teams aren’t very good Arizona Oregon State and Arizona State I know the end of the year look Tata gave this fake like there are good but beaten Michigan State 0 like wow Arizona State back but then they guys whoops I Utah they got bluffed by UCLA I wouldn’t be surprised they’re losing Oregon State Oregon State actually better Oregon State might be the best of the three team well they have a good often and it’s a rivalry game that being said they’re just not a talented and I just Arizona’s not good there are the worst team in the bags all demo Colorado and they’re coming on Stadium I don’t think Arizona State’s very good but it’s a road game and they can play some defense and you see it’s a road game in the desert especially if it’s the pac-12 extra dark you never know and then Oregon State is a robbery game and or you could be looking ahead to the fact all championship that games a little sneaky but that being said I don’t see Oregon losing I think this is a pretty composed team this is a pretty mentally tough team and I know some of that was questioned but you know they’ve won three straight games they’ve won all the road games if two other games they came back with a fourth-quarter comeback this last game they got hit in the mouth and they came back to blew them out of the water it’s just a pretty tough team I don’t see them having a downturn and honestly Arizona Arizona State and a nor did you serve very good there’s very good tape maybe one of them makes the ball that’s about it so um I think I think we will save you Tom versus Oregon is detectable championship yeah which I know last week we were talking about they you were I think you were saying maybe not Utah I think you were saying USC possibly but looks like Utah which they won this past weekend looks like they’re the clear clear fate when I clear favorite but the favorite for now does never know what pac-12 Utah from the pac-12 South might be the clear favorite now oh yeah standings yeah I mean if you play UCLA and UCLA does control their all destiny and UCLA it’s playing pretty good they have won three games in a row and they’re looking a lot better I just don’t think there is good and there’s you talking stuff too so that just as I got saying that this or if you keep stuff you taught stops to they got hit in the mouth they came back and they they impose their will on washed it the dude that seems in the pac-12 are or are get in and Utah and it’s not just talent it’s just their mentally very tough team they have two very mentally tough coaches and you can see it play out on the field and they play very good on the line of scrimmage both teams and they run the ball and they have experienced quarterbacks who don’t turn them all over it like honestly you know I think every conference has a dichotomy if like who’s the best there’s it’s similar like all the pac-12 had parity not this year unquestionably that you been teams are Oregon and Utah and it’s not even close yeah which Utah’s right arena or join and then like they people yeah I would think yeah I would say there’s more parity because the daresay there’s so much parity right now in the pac-12 this year if there’s not 30 by far the two best teams are Oregon Utah in like I’d say there’s more parity in the big 12 your I don’t think there’s such a drastic difference than who’s better in the big 12 this year um you know so I say actually the pac-12 is more resembling to the big fat baby big-time you probably for Cersei that Penn State and I hope they’re the two best I’ll compare a little more to that good here real quick who from USC impressed you like the most well when it comes to USC it’s undeniable ok so like in my formula there’s a fifth most talented team before the team towel composite by two four seven pork they have the number four and even in the little bit that you saw in that first half you told us he had some serious talent I mean they have a lot of team speed they have guys that could fly around that Paolo ma who was the safety who actually ended up getting ejected because of targeting he had a sack he had an interception he’s a very good player at allé know who Fung though who didn’t play in the game is a very good player Paolo Paolo I’m not his name pacio get Sofia the Y backer he was a five star he’s a very talented player Jason Valle and Marlin off work so PO d tackles are guys that can play Jerry Jackson who didn’t play in the game in the talent learn they have talent and their wide receivers all month long they Brown Michael Pittman Tyler von Drake London our tile for two even playing at the end score to touch out they have lots Allen so that’s why that USC jobs going to be appealing because he’s not going to walk into a terrible roster he’s gonna rocket walk into a top-ten roster and so that makes the job pretty appealing right now so I knows a lot of guys in key if you’d sold it you know what he made some bad interceptions but you know what it was a tough game because Oregon dared USC to run they dropped a ton of guys in the coverage and for a freshman to try to read against the secondary remember Oregon leads and called for the FBS in takeaways they have one of the better secondaries especially when it comes to taking the ball away in college football not just the pac-12 so for a true freshman when a team is daring you to run and you have to go against the guys that are extremely experienced you have two or three pack all pac-12 level players and guys like Jeff and Hall and Barone McKinley Thomas Granby Amador Lenore McHale right that’s just tough and so they made him make some bad mistakes can he threw some really bad dick but he also made some play he had some nice scrambled I think the kid’s gonna be a really good player in the future speaking with the USC clay Hilton’s job is on the line obviously some candidates have been brought up in Meyer do you think Urban Meyer will be good fit for USA oh you know what you know of course there’s USC fans are all determined that he would do it you could get a little bit a narrative pushed out there but people like Bruce Feldman Pete saml you think bill passed he did something for the LA Times I don’t think so no I don’t think Urban Meyer is going to get it Urban Meyer unfortunately is a great coach but he left in very serious circumstance that Florida obviously IO Stadium circumstance with the coach in line to mediate if get suspended four games he had two health problems that I guess stemmed from those incidents I don’t think Urban Meyer comes back to coach college football I don’t know if he ever puts possible again so you’re asking me I just know he does it again I do it he comes next don’t you yeah actually do I actually did you go to the NFL I think you go to the house which is high early prediction yeah well no which is his best prospect you’re saying yeah like the NFL’s his best possibility if he wants to return to coaching that is what Tyler yeah I think play hell done you idiot fired Optus you beat them to the punch the only Taylor got fired so we thought about that I mean it’s kind of a set it kind of a sad story it’s kind of not so how I got so into recruiting if you want to know that little back story of how I became such like injured yes it started when Willie Taggart was the head coach of organ he became the head coach after Mark Helfrich got fired he brought so much energy he was a social media he did these little things like before he got to commit you do this ring ring ring and you knew that you’re getting had a commit coming and the fan base would go crazy and then a player would commit to Oregon he had his little catchphrases like do something he called his offense simplicity he had a lot of hype going into Oregon he was able to class that had barely anyone committed and he was able to get a top 20 class after what bank only being on the job too much he got dies like for a couple of hundred guys like Thomas Graham and llamado Lenora to commit he then the next year just was like a bad man on the trail Oregon had like 25 commitments by the time he’d ever coached a game for Oregon they had a top 5 class like scout.com at one point at their class rated number one and then after one year at Oregon he left he went to Florida State and I always thought I think that’s gonna kill his career because you just can’t do that it just made him look flaky evade him look out for himself it made him look non-committed and they didn’t look like a fake and so I knew when that happened I’m like this could eventually heard his word green because people are gonna trust him and he’s gonna think the grass is greener on the other side and it’s not going to be and you know what I hate to say it but everything that I thought was true and after two years for one he did not recruit at Florida State he only landed the number 20 recruiting class that’s right number 20 recruiting class in his first full cycle that’s terrible for Florida State Florida State probably the third easiest place to recruit to other than maybe like USC or Alabama so and then he the results from the fields weren’t good and it completely lost his mojo and ultimately he went from what I thought was a good situation I think he would have done fine unlike other people being like oh we’re super lucky I think great assistant coaches at Oregon I think he got a lot of momentum on the trail um I don’t if you care into chrismole the thing is crystal ball is so authentic and the crystal ball was his off at the coordinator so look Haggard hired Mariel crystal ball but you say no but Willie tigger hired me from Alabama I mean grits involuntary obviously got a lot but anyway um but crystal ball is just a little more authentic loyal like just down-to-earth guy where we’re really tailored from the beginning a little bit got to me even before and I was an Oregon fan like what he was doing but his catchphrases and he was like do something or lethal simplicity or have a good day if you want to some of those things I’m just kind of like man he better win because some of these things are corny and and and and crystal ball doesn’t do that and I just like authentic thing and I also think the crystal ball teams are a little tougher now granted Taggart only had one year for that one year when that when the Justin Herbert went down in mystics games the team really kind of hold it for like six weeks went 1-4 and basically they were good when Herbert played and they were terrible when Herbert didn’t play and also he was kind of based in game positions just like crystal ball that were kind of like I don’t know so but I still think I still think he was going to land good classes at Oregon and I still think Justin Herbert would have stayed and I still think that Oregon’s record wouldn’t be that much different this year believe it or not stage and organ just basically kept him he kept one of his people on to continue what he started and I think Willie Tiger made a huge error in thinking the grass was greener on the other side and it wasn’t it wasn’t so I heard him in recruiting and all the other probably weaknesses he had got it was elevated and he fired oh ah yeah so folks stay bouncing Jewish he’s open yeah kind of have to wonder you know Auburn is always you know they’re weird they’re Arkansas Chad Morris not doing very well so you have to wonder there he’s only been the job two years and then you have to wonder if from that rule leave Baylor you have to wonder if a james franklin these penn state that would open it up yeah I just don’t know if Jim Harbaugh might leave Michigan Michigan’s playing better still doesn’t mean our balls not gonna leave um so there could be some pretty good jobs opening I think this is gonna be a little better year when it comes to overall job openings in college football yeah there was a there was I think to fire ends this weekend I think the assistant coach of Rutgers also got fired so it was an offensive culture Oh Syracuse that’s right good I’ll be applying that one this summer anyways what are your predictions for tomorrow’s college football playoff obviously like the first one comes out tomorrow night you did send a screenshot to our group chat what do you think will happen tomorrow night you know I’m hearing a lot of different things you know I don’t know it’s a committee I think they’re very well respected very intelligent people I think they use a lot of analytics I think they use a lot of metrics I think they use um compare schedules and anything compare conferences I think they you know I think you look at resumes I think they okay I mean there’s an eyeball test just to see how people say team lines up on like offense defense off of the windy line quarterback position um I think we kind of know the top four what order will be in I’m not sure I for some reason suspect because Alex you has better victories that LSU is gonna be one just call it a hunch I think Ellis is gonna be one I think wild state will be to be said they have better victories along with the fact that it looks very good with the eyeballs house I think Alabama will be free I think Clemson will be poor I’m not completely convinced before Penn State does have better resume they’ve beaten better teams in the victory over top 25 Michigan team damn in victory over a top 25 Iowa team on the road I could you know I might you know colliding 10 states for I think so I think it’s LSU I think it’s a high o state I think it Alabama and I’m not even like Alabama just does not have good victories Alabama does not have an optimized victory I walked at the eyeball test with the ridiculous you know offense and and all that shows that Alabama is but the only thing is that they’re – that their schedules not good and they do put a big ol s on schedule so I think for for okay so I’m gonna go Alabama 3 but when we surprises are for Penn State for I think Clemson is 5 6 is interesting to me I think it’s either Georgia or if Oregon the argument for Georgia is Georgia has the better victory meaning they’ve beaten to top 25 teams in Florida Notre Dame the argument against Georgia is they have a loss to an unranked team at home argument for organ is organs overall record teams that they’ve played percentages like fifty six percent which is I think the second-best of anyone in the top ten currently and their only loss was a last-second loss on the road to a top probably Auburn top 15 maybe top 10 team and organ also was missing their two leading receivers I’ve never drawn Johnson who I just talked about who at three touchdown catches yeah he didn’t play a good offer Micah Pittman who had two touchdowns the big one against Washington and a big want to get to it even play against Auburn so you have to wonder if that matters because that lack of play makers made their offensive one-dimensional in second half and they had a big lead and could they have kept that lead with them I think so I actually do but I don’t know the worst loss is Georgia the better of victories Georgia maybe Georgia Tech’s Oregon 7 but it’s really close and then eight would be probably you saw they don’t have great victories they probably won’t have a victory over our top ten 25 they also have a loss to team mountain top 25 but the eyeball test is they’re a pretty good team young and then nine that’s the big thing and then nine and ten you know Baylor and Minnesota are undefeated but I’ve seen them they have not played strong schedules and especially Baylor’s not that good like meaning like if you look at advanced analytics Baylor’s fairly in the top 25 yet they’re undefeated I know it’s weird if he Texas Tech in overtime they want Maya laughing or a fourth-quarter field goal over West Virginia they have a lot of a 1 my neck last-second midfield or something over Iowa State on Baylor could have three losses a couple of those games I think if you don’t get messed tricked it actually should have lost so Baylor is not very good but they’re undefeated you have to put into context Minnesota actually pleased better because of the big Malevich the amount of victories that they’ve had in the Big Ten and one by considerable margin I still think they’re going to come back down the earth and then you’ve got like an Auburn with a big top two as a top ten big over Oregon but then lost the Florida Illinois lost my 3 to LSU and then defensively one of us teams nation and then Florida but floor or less I mean they should could have lost one more to Georgia they were pretty much outplayed by LSU they beat Auburn that’s a good victory for that time hasn’t looked great I would probably go and then he odd Oklahoman who’s looked great but they lost to a team who’s now ranked I would actually probably go Oklahoma Knights and I’d probably go 10 Minnesota because actually when it goes to analytics Minnesota the top 10 team offensive in defensive efficiency DSP plots so yeah I taught them that is Tyler’s predictions for tomorrow night the committee will will release it tomorrow night I think it’s around 7 or 8 o’clock at night really looking excited to it ap pulls a great pull but it’s not the official poll that does not get you to playoffs there’s a committee that will go at the top four and two SEC teams two Big Ten could that hold to the end of the season well I mean Ohio State Penn State play and LSU Alabama play oh no I mean I mean but this will the loser be in the discussion yeah it’s possible um it just depends on I just think at the end of the day if Oklahoma Oregon or Utah or a one last conference champion yeah I think there’s gonna be enough I think they get get in over a one loss like whoever loses the Alabama LSU game needs to hope that the champion there needs to be a two loss champion in the big 12 and the pac-12 that’s my opinion I think it will come down now there’s a one loss big 12 and a one lot packed loss it’ll be close I think they’ll have to do some big-time digging into the numbers to pick the winner over those two but I don’t I just think that one loss I mean you’re in the conference it’s the way it is if you’re a one moth team yeah I don’t think they get a five to him things are tough flame through and by the way guys we’ll have a big show on Thursday so we’ll go more in detail of what happens tomorrow night and I do want to go on Cain Alabama for the loss against LSU but Tyler cannot say the answer right now till Thursday yep anyways Packers lost yesterday against the Chargers 11 to 26 this is the first loss no this is not the first last but this is charges a huge win by the Chargers what happened to the Packers well um it I didn’t get to watch this game as much as I could taking care of my kids take care of my little baby on the other crap and from what I saw the office couldn’t do a whole lot that’s it then he was a good defense Joey post man those most brothers they caused some havoc don’t they Joey both it was like all over the place I don’t know who’s better up in what well I know it was good okay that’s why you can’t drafted in the top five it was really good football players um so yeah it’s been doing offensively office has been odd this year they’ve had a couple really bad games and they’ve had a couple incredible game the defense continues to give up like really big explosive plays I never I this this hacker team I think they finish about 11 and 5 I think they get to the playoffs I think they maybe win a first-round game I I just don’t think they’re great III don’t think they’re a great team so I think their record is better than I oh good they are but the NFL is so much parody now you would have the Patriots last night they got boat race I like Raven don’t you know I I don’t I don’t know berated is pretty good Raven pretty damn good so there you go obviously just like Tyler says there’s only one undefeated team and that is the San Francisco 49ers where Nick Bosa is playing yeah I don’t totally buy them either I mean I think think they’re good but they’re a little bit paper warriors right now anyways anything else before we enter predictions oh no not really thinking about going to Penn State versus Minnesota should I go you should go cover yes again should I come to the game well I don’t know I have to talk it over with the wife yes ask her first I could be live wide covering the game I’m outside which they have a outdoor stadium right yep it’s gonna be called favorite Gophers Marilyn at Ohio State give me good game prediction i’m santi a girl i am i got it down but what i want good game I don’t want these crappy ones you gave me but the LSU game I should won’t miss Cobden play this week yes yep I’m Fox holy hell how many chopped how many top 25 games are there Wow this week but anyways no that’s not true there was only two top 25 games last week there’s more top 25 this week wait how are you yeah you there’s three already there’s ala 2 vs. Alabama there’s Minnesota versus Penn State there’s obviously Iowa versus Wisconsin at three okay highway Wisconsin as much as last week wasn’t very good getting week at all um Iowa’s constant I would go yeah I think Wisconsin I think to get back in the right track I think teams teams are a little similar they played good defense I don’t think either team is a great offense but I think at home Wisconsin’s also been pretty good in this rivalry over the last few years so I go with Gotham Missouri at Georgia you know this would be one of those games that you wonder if Georgia overlock I don’t trust Georgia all the time but I think Jordans more talented I go Georgia Clemson at NC state club then Iowa State at Oklahoma a little bit of Turkey game uh Iowa State’s pretty good they have lost a couple games but I think Oklahoma I think they come back I think they win this at home Notre Dame at Duke nor dime and finally which you could change I’m by Thursday LSU Alabama you know what I kind of back and forth in this game a little bit it depends on to its health but for some reason I did I don’t know I just don’t trust LSU against Alabama they haven’t beaten them in like five six years um good point it’s at home coming off a bye I think Nick Saban’s you know the best coach in college football history I think Alabama went wow think I’ll buy one even even if Mack please I think too it for wanting to a place and yeah I think I think he’ll they’ll win yeah I I do I do I think Alabama yeah I don’t think Alabama losses this year I think I mean I mean the playoff they haven’t called out yet we’ll see out it turns out I think they end up being 13 you know and the two teams that really feel safest saying I think that is Ohio State and Alabama for some reason I think Clemson I told you the hot take I think they lose the Wake Forest and I don’t think they make the playoff eiseley there LSU loses I did Bluest LSU loses to Texas A&M I think there are two lost teams so that one loss scenario think it happens I think Penn State loses at least to Ohio State maybe another game I don’t think it’s going to be it because right now it’s like all how we’re gonna sneak these teams in I think plain and simple it’s gonna be one of those things it’s gonna be like Alabama number one Ohio State number two number three the pac-12 champ and number four the big 12 champ well I don’t even know I don’t even know if the big 12 I don’t know I could yeah I mean there’s Oklahoma gonna win out and beat Baylor twice and beat TCU and Iowa State I don’t know if I trust that defense I mean I think right now and I’m not being Homer at all I think the safe is bet outside of Ohio State and Alabama I think Georgia could loose Auburn so that’s another team I think George is gonna lose the SEC Championship to Alabama um so I think the safest bet is the winner of Oregon versus Utah and I didn’t say that I’m not being Homer I don’t know if Oregon’s gonna win that game where’s Tammy I don’t know it didn’t leave I stadium I think yeah so we’re talking about are they gonna sneak in I think ultimately the pac-12 could end up being the third seed playing against Ohio State and Alabama versus who knows I don’t even know could be it could be a two loss team that ends up being the fourth one I don’t know maybe yeah I don’t know well the calmly yeah well well wait a minute if um if Clemson if there’s the chaos that I’m contradicting if Clemson loss to Wake Forest will came back and won the SEC ACC Championship but if Wake Forest beat them that on the tiebreaker so Clemson might not even play for the ACC championship but let’s say they did we lose another game and Clemson was a one-loss team and an ACC champion they probably still would get in with all the chaos that I’m saying I don’t know there could not be some chaos I don’t know how chaotic is gonna get I just see some teams looting right now they’re acting like only one loss between Penn State Ohio State only one loss and it’s like Ellen still has to Georgia is only one loss but Georgia still has to play a.m. and it has to play at Auburn and LSU have to play a.m. and Penn State has to place you know Minnesota and Ohio State Ohio State has to play Penn State and they have to play at Michigan in a rivalry game against Michigan who’s playing a lot better I don’t know it’s just it’s not quite as cut and dry as what they’re saying because there’s a lot more chaos that could happen whereas they’re like how the pac-12 champion again well Oregon and Utah don’t play anyone really that’s any damn good until they play each other in the pac-12 championship now could they get upset yeah they could possibly where you get upset by Arizona State possibly you would get upset by UCLA but not probably not I mean they’re significantly better teams in those teams it’d be very surprising there’s it all in there I don’t know there’s a lot of stuff that could happen this is exciting like well I don’t know yeah that actually like you know like a pac-12 Champions gonna get in or or a one loss Oklahoma I just I just think too much chaos to go in but for some reason I haven’t mobbed Clemson this year I just just they’re not they’re still a very good team and they have a lot of good players for some reason I can just even get knocked off and that could be problematic in a very bad ACC with a bad schedule and I also you know I could see LSU all.he they just tend to do that the last several years all of a sudden losing to Alabama and then losing to a.m. people are and and I’ve always thought that I always thought that a.m. was gonna beat someone they had all these tough games I’m like they’re gonna knock off someone I don’t know who healing and I think of that Ellis I think of that LSU game could be the game yeah people are asking and developer at Florida who you got that’s Ryan African Wyoming five and three they still were first in the pac-12 South and they were playing at home and some of the national media was picking USC to win the game no yeah if you be a team like that like 32 points yeah I’m believe there and my night football Dallas Cowboys visit the New York Giants cowboy we had a few we have one debate this past week with college football nerds about their talent formula can you explain the audience what happened on Twitter at age they made the statement that okay so it kind of they flash I mean I can just read between the lines I think they said the competitive’s BC and playoff teams have always had at least 70 percent blue chip talent or 50 percent blue chip talent 70 percent blue chip talent on there stirrers or 50% blue chip talent plus a first-round quarterback well I mean there that just would mean we seem to seem to say that in the BCS and in the college football era so I don’t know they’re going back 10 years that Dow was the guideline there either 50% with a first-round quarterback or 70% and i’m marcio am a nerd when it comes to the recruiting rankings and the team talent and I immediately knew that was all I knew that on they had been several teams that had made the college football playoff Washington in 2016 Michigan State 2015 or again in 2014 Oklahoma in 2016 that did not have 50% talent and teams like Michigan State and Washington they didn’t even have a first-round quarterback and so I’m like no you can easily disprove that so that’s what I brought to the table in a rebuttal to that statement and then instead of being like oh yeah right there like move the goalposts they said I said competitive well organ organ made the national title they won their and and an Oklahoma lost to Georgia and over time I’m like uh-huh a Clemson made the national championship Clemson didn’t that’s right defraud Clemson at also didn’t have 50 percent on the 2015 roster and and then they just kept on instead of being like oh you’re right you got me your crap no no no then they started to mute the argument then didn’t they kind of half agreed but it was it was then it was just like word salad and deflecting and moving the goalposts and the fact is is if they you make you can make the statement no team in the college football era has had not had top 25 Talent you know I said that right yeah you know when I broke down my playoffs that’s true in the college football era and in the team talent composite which has been around five years no team up by the we don’t seem that has not had top 25 baselines has ever made the playoffs that’s true but yes there’s been several teams that didn’t have 50% of the roster be blue chip you don’t have to have 50% of your roster be blue chip to make the college football playoffs and actually I probably if unreleased will do an article on sports calf kind of going back and seeing how my team talent top 25 hits shared but off the top of my head um probably within the top 10 there’s only going to be one team that does not have space the top 25 baseline talent and that’s Utah so if Utah somehow wins the pac-12 title game and makes the college football playoffs they will be the first team ever to not have not 25 baseline talent and make the costume well there you have it you can visit on the sports cast down there for for to see more of those articles about team talent his prediction this is real I’m actually thinking that – I might get bumped out and it’s not because he’s not a great player not because he’s not worthy of being Huizinga gender I and I would like I said I probably right now we mean slightly to over Herbert for the first quarter back picked even though getting injured a lot is the problem um but he’s missed two games I don’t know I mean the other guys are playing good and I mean Justin Herbert it’s twenty four touchdowns two interceptions completing 70% of passes and his team is going to be probably ranked in the top six initial college won’t play off I don’t know I think yeah and there’s rumors dolphins now want Joe bro instead of Toa hello real cool gets heard a lot man Cincinnati wants to uh as much as day who wants Herbert I don’t know I think we don’t know I got okay I think I think whoever gets picked first I think it’s because he’s just big and in has all the towel in the world and the thing is the biggest question mark about him was his leadership and his ability to lead his team back and he’s done it three weeks in a row no no I would have said to up but Tula gets hurt he’s been hurt every single year of his college career that’s nine he was heard of the freshman he was hurt of both spring practices News hurt he was hurt last year he was hurt again this year if you’re a small guy already and you’re getting hurt a lot so yeah
