Tua Tagovailoa’s Pro Days have surfaced, in courtesy of Chris Mortensen, ESPN NFL analyst. Trent Dilfer directed the 72-throw sesson that was video taped and sent to all 32 teams.
Dilfer says Tua has a lot of horsepower and has a great throwing arm.
Here are his notes:
The big issue is Tua’s injuries, will NFL clubs see that as a big issue? Mortensen says, “Topic of QB durability every QB case is different with thousands of variables. 2 top picks come to mind- Matthew Stafford pretty clean bill of health coming into NFL, misses 19 gms in 1st 2 yrs and is proclaimed injury prone, only to start the next 8 straight full seasons,” continues, “2nd QB is Andrew Luck, relatively clean bill of health coming into NFL and had to retire earlier than most expected due to injuries. Really no one knows how a QB will fare injury wise in the NFL. More luck involved in the longevity of any QB than people think.”
Many mock drafts have him going to either the Miami Dolphins or the LA Chargers. What do you think of his performance in Pro Day? Where will Tua end up? Leave a comment below.
