Buccaneers QB Tom Brady mistakenly enters stranger’s home in Tampa

Bucs QB Tom Brady planned to pick up playbook material from offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich but walked into the wrong house, surprising owner.

According to both outlets, Brady was headed to the home of Bucs offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich. Trying to practice social distancing, Brady planned to pick up offensive playbook materials but walked into the wrong home without knocking.

The homeowner, David Kramer, was surprised to see Brady.

“I’m sitting here, and I see this big shadow come up to my front door. And I hear my doorknob turning. … I’m like, ‘What the hell? Like, who’s coming in my house?'” Kramer told TMZ Sports. Kramer said his front door was unlocked because he is selling the home.

“And he goes, ‘How’s it going, man?'” Kramer said. “And sarcastically I’m like, ‘I don’t know. You tell me, dude.’ Like, who are you? And then he looked at me with the most confused face. I’ll never forget it for the rest of my life. He just goes, ‘Am I in the wrong house?’

“I said, ‘I think so. But who are you looking for? Where are you supposed to be?’ And he said, ‘Is this Byron’s house?'”

“Holy (expletive) (expletive). Tom Brady is in my (expletive) house.”

Brady has had an interesting transition to the Tampa area. The six-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback was told to leave a Tampa public park this past week because of stay-at-home orders related to the coronavirus pandemic.
