Georgia football announces it will get back to work on June 8


The Southeastern Conference presidents and chancellors voted on Firday to allow voluntary football activities to resume on its member campuses on June 8. Georgia is joining a number of other programs and wasting no time and using that day as its report date for its players. UGA football’s official twitter account delivered the news.

“We’ve all made it through the last couple months because of our composure and discipline On June 8th, physicality returns to our facilities, while still adhering to top safety guidelines. Let’s get this (bread).”

Georgia has actually been out of commission longer than most programs. The Bulldogs broke for spring break on March 7 and never got to reconvene as a team. Classes were suspended on March 12 and UGA suspended the start of spring drills the very next day.
