The season will be shorter. There’ll be no fans and no peanuts. Today joining us to flesh this out what’s going to happen this season and to preview the season The new rules we got two guys from Duke sports. Duke sports Mr. Meyers and Mr. Cuts cow called Jake Meyers and cow cots. Welcome to the sports cast.

Jake Meyers 1:17
Glad to have a solid man.

Kyle Kotz 1:19
Yeah, appreciate that, sir. Yep, fun stuff excited to check out some baseball.

Santiago Leon 1:25
So guys, tell us a little bit about yourselves and about juke sports.

Kyle Kotz 1:29
Yeah, so for sure. So juke sports. We started. We’re relatively new podcast, I think we consider ourselves more of a sports comedy type of podcast and you we touch on pretty much everything in terms of sports, but whatever else we feel like talking about as well on. So we’ve been around about 14 weeks on. We do a lot of different segments on lists and closing statements, things like that, but our big bread and butter football and baseball so we’re excited to be on here and check it out. And if anyone out there wants Check us out on Twitter, it’s at chook sports. Why don’t you give us a follow on in our baseball are actually doing a little giveaway today too. So we have a post out there to give away a free Ken Griffey Jr, Jersey. So check us out and hopefully you guys enjoy what you hear.

Santiago Leon 2:15
Jake, can you tell us why you guys named this juke sports. So,

Jake Meyers 2:21
so this is a funny story. So, we are from northeastern Pennsylvania in a little coal town called nanticoke. And in nanticoke, a juke is a kind of referred to as like a common person a to say that the best so we figured that the word juke most people know it as a football term like you juke someone out, but we felt that it’d be like a nice little double meaning that people from our hometown kind of get it kind of like a wink to them and we just kind of ran with it. So yeah, that’s how juke sports kind of started.

Santiago Leon 3:03
I like it very much. It’s different. I’ve never heard the word jute before, um, because I was thinking of Juco college football but no, it’s just J. uk.

Jake Meyers 3:15
Yeah, it’s funny you say that actually. Um, I actually some of my background, I actually coached three years at Lackawanna Lackawanna college which is a one of the premier Juco colleges in the country. So that’s funny you say that because I someone else actually asked me the same thing is because your background at laquan It’s a battle actually. It’s not I kind of getting the story. But yeah, it’s funny you say that?

Santiago Leon 3:44
Yeah, yeah. So let’s get into baseball. Of course, we took a couple months, maybe three to four months to get these going. Tell us guys What’s your opinion? How did this lead to today? The whole the whole preparation and With the union, and also with the league.

Kyle Kotz 4:03
Yeah, I mean, it’s been it’s been quite the shiny. The craziest thing is because everything’s been so public. So the players, you know, with Twitter and things like that, and putting everything out there, I’m, I’m a Cleveland Indians fan. So I’m a big Trevor Bauer fan. So he was very vocal on Twitter about what’s going on with the negotiations. And I think that’s why it’s so different than anything else we’ve seen because everything has been so, so public, and everyone’s been on whether you’re on the side of the players or the owners, however you want to think about it. I mean, there’s old school traditionalists who are always in the camp of saying, you should just play because you love the game and no matter what, and then there’s the newer millennial type of Camp who hear what the players are saying, get what they want, and they’re just trying to understand how to do it. So it’s been interesting to see all of that unfold and how you really got here on. I know, a couple weeks ago, Jake and I were talking about like, how is this going to look like 60 games seems too short. Like we were Saying does 80 games work is 60 games? Does that mean there’s an asterick? If you win the World Series, I mean, it’s so short. But I think now the more that I think about, I’m just excited to see how it unfolds, because there’s going to be a lot of a lot of strategy with, especially with some of the rule changes and 60 games in general is going to be gonna be interesting. See who gets off to hotstart? Who doesn’t? Because if you don’t, it’s going to be interesting to make up some ground. Now those teams could do it.

Santiago Leon 5:25
Jake 60 games where do your thoughts you think that’s too short for baseball or you think it’s good to follow the philosophy where there’s less, there’s more?

Jake Meyers 5:35
I mean, it’s one of those things where I think a lot of fans like ourselves, one are just happy we have baseball right now. I really think we could have gotten a 90 game or an 80 game season, but with negotiations falling through, we didn’t quite get there. But I do believe that baseball Now people are going to be locked in from the start all the way to the finish. I mean, I know a lot of baseball fans and they’re excited in the beginning opening day. And then there’s like a three month or two months stretch where no one kind of cares because you have the NBA Finals going on. You have hockey, Stanley Cup final or Stanley Cup Playoffs going on. Now we’ve been starved of sports for so long that this 60 day season is going to be like, like a horse race and everyone’s going to be locked in until the end.

Santiago Leon 6:33
Do you think baseball stands at the most because right now the NBA and also the MLS are meeting in Orlando. But with MLB the teams are able to travel to each other stadiums except Toronto though. What do you think about that? You think it’d be complex because of the whole virus? Or do you think this might stand out when it comes to the world of sports Finally,

Kyle Kotz 6:57
I think this is it’s going to be interesting, I think hit on one thing that’s going to be key there because like you mentioned, MLS and NBA are quarantining in Orlando in the bubble. MLB is not doing that we’re not gonna have fans there, but the teams are still traveling. So how that impacts I mean, that interaction there, how they’re going to keep away from tracting COVID. And spreading that that’s going to be the key there. Because if someone gets said that they’ve missed a test or doesn’t happen, that could causal a breakout, and that could be the end of the season. So that’s the key thing to me, because they’ll be coming home to their home crowds, they’ll be going back home, interacting with other people outside of the teams. So I think that’s going to be interesting to see and knock on wood. Hopefully nothing like that happens and there isn’t a breakout, but that’s going to be that’s the one thing that worries me with getting through even a 16 game season with where we’re at right now is how all that’s going to shape out

Santiago Leon 7:49
now with the Blue Jays not able to play in Canada and also they cannot play in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania won’t let them for some reason. I believe that we’re going to Baltimore none of these games will have fans. There’s I mean, not watching the bonus league and I like the Premier League over there. And you’re like, like having no fans. There’s no like home field advantage. How do you feel about that having no fans you think it will benefit like the away team more or? i?

Jake Meyers 8:18
So this is a question that I’ve been really thinking about, because it’s one of those things where I think it’s going to be strange for both Home Team and away team. And I think it’s going to take a little bit of use to but I mean, when push comes to shove, though, these guys are professional athletes, and it’s almost going to revert back to, you know, when they were either one playing in college or pop maybe even High School, you know that they’re still going to be great there. It’s still going to be a great game. I mean, I’m a fan of the fake crowd noise. I think fake crowd noise is good. I think that’ll At least give you a little bit of that feel if you’re an athlete, but I mean, yeah, there’s gonna be no there’s gonna be no fans. It’s gonna take a little bit to adjust but luckily they’ve been playing games in front of fans for the last couple days. So I think they should have the I think there’ll be a custom to a by now.

Santiago Leon 9:19
Yeah, I believe I’m not sure if they’ll be doing it for baseball but I know in Europe they’d like the players don’t hear crowd noise is just the audience as and yeah, just the audience. And in Germany, you’re able to turn on the audience crowd or have no crowds on crowd noise. So it’s gonna be quite an interesting how things are going to be done. Let’s look at the rules for this season. One thing that sticks out was the like the DH rule, which is means hitter and pitcher By having them hit key explain that rule, the d h rule.

Kyle Kotz 10:03
Yeah, so universal d h rule this year is is a cool tag, I think it should be adapted moving forward. So essentially what traditionally what happens is an American leaders d h, which just a guy who doesn’t play the field, but that’s for the pitcher, but in the nationally, there the pitcher actually bats so there’s no dh there. So this year, to make it a little even playing field, in the National League, they’ll have they’ll be able to have a th to bat as well. So it’s key that that’s going to be universal because one, it takes away from the advantage when an American League team plays an NFL team and the pictures for American League teams then off the bat. So there’s no advantage anymore for the NFL team there. But it’s just going to be a great new wrinkle that I think if it should work out, I think it might be adopted moving forward. There’s been talks about it for four years now of trying to adapt this and About the NFL league as well. So I think if all goes well this year, we could see it definitely stay in there moving forward with it.

Santiago Leon 11:09
For the regular season, every half ending after there after like the ninth, we’ll begin with a runner on. Second, I can base it that runner scores, the pitcher won’t be charged with an earned run. What does that mean?

Kyle Kotz 11:25
That it’s a way that necessarily is more of a stat thing. The runner stern on second bases way to speed games up knowing that this is going to be 60 games season where it’s shorter, shorter, and in a sense, but they’re going to be playing so many back to back games, and more games. It’s a way to not have these longer extra in games take go away into the night and 11 midnight in the morning. On the Iran stat it’s just because the players started on there. It’s not going to affect the patient, the pitchers stats, their long term, so it doesn’t really have any impact on the game per se. The earned run but it does have an impact on the individual stats which you know could play a factor and how people look at these stats from historical standpoint moving forward because there’s all these little wrinkles in there.

Santiago Leon 12:13
Another rule is there will be no restrictions on position players pitching. Was that mean?

Kyle Kotz 12:21
You went down jaykar sure, I

Jake Meyers 12:24
know you do pretty you do pretty well with this card. So I’m gonna let you take this card

Santiago Leon 12:27
for a little comfortable.

Kyle Kotz 12:29
I could tie talk about every I talked for all day. Okay. Um, so this one’s just pretty much in the past there’s been some restrictions on when up put up position player so someone not starting pitcher or someone in the bullpen could come in and actually pitch in a game this year because again, or the shortened season, and how things are going to be impact with back to backs and maybe some potential doubleheaders. They’re opening up to anyone. So historically, you’ve never seen like someone who plays second base. right field come in and actually pitching a game unless you have one of those long 18 hitting extra inning type of games where they the team’s already exhausted their bullpen. And as no one else could pitch besides some outfielder pitch in high school, so now there’s not going to be really any restriction on it. I don’t think we’ll see. Really anything with that unless the team’s getting blown out. And you know, they have to save their arms for a game that they could actually win. So maybe you might see a right fielder pushing High School coming in the eighth of the ninth inning more frequently this year than in the past.

Santiago Leon 13:35
Now, Jake, was like, Well, I have to go with you. At this new rules changes. There’s actually no way that a player can spit during the game. Do you think that’s possible? I mean, can a player try to avoid spitting?

Jake Meyers 13:52
I mean,

Kyle Kotz 13:53
I’m glad you picked Jake for this question.

Jake Meyers 13:57
So, so here’s here’s my thing. On. I don’t know,

Santiago Leon 14:03
tobaccos.

Jake Meyers 14:04
Listen, I’ve played I played baseball. I played baseball in high school. And I was a guy that was consistently spinning. You know, it was just something that you know you did. Now, this is really gonna hurt the baseball players that are accustomed to chewing tobacco, because they have to spit unless they got it, which is very disgusting. Yeah. So I don’t know how that’s all gonna work. I really find it hard to believe that if a guy’s playing, you know, the infield or ever fits on the ground and then puts the dirt over it that they’re gonna find them for that, but it sounds like the rolls. That’s kind of theirs. That’s kind of sound like that’s what’s gonna happen. I hope it doesn’t. Because I mean, come on. You’re a baseball player. Sometimes you just got a spit.

Santiago Leon 14:55
Yeah, that’s something that I kind of noticed in baseball a whole lot. When I was when I was watching, like the it was a game in Germany there’s a lot of coaches spit spit in which they were not allowed. But I guess they eventually had to learn not to spit of course you know, they want to prevent spreading the virus if they had it or not but who knows cots roster how significant will they change like the whole roster rules

Kyle Kotz 15:30
so I don’t think there’s gonna be it’s gonna be interesting because there’s no minor league this year so that’s a big impact there isn’t it? Yeah no minor league baseball so that that’s that’s where it gets a little interesting in terms of the roster so they’ll be able to still have their their I believe it’s 60 man roster that they have available for guys that could come and join the team when needed out or on the major league roster for a sense so there’s some guys that are in AAA that are on the major league roster that can’t be called up. But that’s going to be extended. Sure. But it’s going to be interesting to see how if any of those guys, barring injury gets the chance to play because they’re not going to be getting their at bats or the work in, in the minors like they typically would. So it kind of puts a hindrance on that. The biggest thing for me though, in terms of rosters this year is going to be when it comes to pitching. I’m curious to see because of the shortened season, how your typical five man starting pitching rotation takes place, if teams are going to stick with that, or if they don’t really have a strong fifth starter, if they’re going to use their top four and just go the four man rotation trying to get more and the most out of those guys knowing that they won’t get as many stars as they typically would in a full season. So that’s what I’m curious to see the strategy behind some of the starting pitchers and how that’s gonna play out over the course of the season. What was the reason for the cancellation of the minor league season? It’s well so I think everything comes back to money. Unfortunately, and I, you know, I think that they realized that a lot of those myrlie teams don’t bring in the revenue that they need. And with having those minor league teams, it just could increase the chances of, you know, some COVID outbreaks and spreads. So I think it’s more I think, if anything, I won’t say it’s all about the money, but I think that had a big factor on the business decision. But I also think, you know, the health concerns for that, you know, I mean, there’s not a lot of TV rights and TV money in the minor league stuff, if any, so trying to just get the MLB up to speed and 60 games season, it was probably the key factor and the biggest priority for them.

Santiago Leon 17:39
So the regular season starts tonight 60 games, and they’ll play it till September 27. And we’re in the playoffs a postseason tournament, which is what they’re calling it will begin two days later. The 29th of September. They’re still having to settle this all together. What do you think is gonna happen? Do you think they just do a normal? postseason? Or you think it would be kind of kind of different like the NBA? will do?

Kyle Kotz 18:13
Yeah, I mean, I’ll take this one and Jake, feel free to jump in. I think it’s gonna be I think they’re going to net out with doing something similar to what they normally do. I think it will be three division winners to wildcard I think maybe though the wild wildcard in the first round playoff games might that’s where like the series might take, take shape and change a little bit. Maybe you have three game series versus your typical five or seven game series. That’s the only difference I think, is gonna really change in my opinion, I don’t think the format of how many teams are going to make the playoffs is going to be too much differently. That’s gonna stay suit, but I just think they might, depending on how the season progresses, change the number of games in each series. Hey Jake, you remember when there were things about doing a tournament and may they’re gonna do it in Arizona.

Jake Meyers 19:05
Yeah. So we actually talked about this they I think the the West Coast teams are going to go to Arizona and then the East Coast teams are going to go to Florida. And we were talking and we thought that would that was gonna be a pretty cool idea. Just because that you’re gonna have all those originally they’re gonna have all those northeast teams, which are big time rivals, you know, you have the New York teams, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, Pittsburgh, all those cities together, and are all those teams together. And the fan bases and like our friends, we have new york Yankee fans, Boston Red Sox fans, Phillies fans, pirates fans, so it would it’s kind of cool that like, your team’s playing against one of your buddies teams almost every night. Now, they didn’t go that route. I thought that would have been cool. I think they were going called the cactus the cactus league in the grapefruit league. But it didn’t happen. But I mean, hey, we got baseball tonight. So that’s all that matters.

Santiago Leon 20:11
Exactly. And of course, good thing that didn’t happen because I’m not a big fan of the whole bubble thing. I think playing at each other stadiums a little bit a little bit more exciting, even though there’s no fans, but I think each stadium will definitely have their taste or a little touch up to what they do. Predictions guys, who do you think will win the World Series or who will do well, for the regular season and who do you think will win? Everything the World Series?

Kyle Kotz 20:42
Yeah, I mean, I’ll take that one. First. I got World Series prediction, but I also have a few team sleeper teams. It could be interesting. There’s a not the Los Angeles Dodgers that are playing at night but another team out in California, the San Diego Padres. They have a very young team. Unfortunately, they’re in the They’re in the West Division with the Dodgers, so they’re not gonna win that division. But they have a very interesting team with Manny Machado out there, Eric hosmer. Some good players out there, Fernando Tatis Jr. He’s a young up and coming star. So I’m really intrigued to see how that team comes together this year, that’s one of my sleeper teams to kind of sneak into the playoffs maybe as a wildcard and cause some noise. I’m also still I’m going to be biased here. I’m a Cleveland Indians fan. And I think my Indians are set are suited very well for a 16 game season. They have one of the best pitching rotations in the MLB. So I think that’s gonna play a very key for all teams in their pitching too, because you usually takes there’s a little bit to get adjusted out things are gone through season, get the timing down, etc. So I think having a strong pitching staff is going to give a team a really strong advantage. But with all that said, I don’t have either of those teams won the World Series. I think the two best teams are the Yankees and the Dodgers. And I just think both teams from top to bottom are fully stocked and loaded with great talent and great pitching to. You’ll see Gary Cole tonight and you’ll see Clayton Kershaw for the Dodgers as well. So I had the Dodgers over the Yankees in the World Series. Well,

Santiago Leon 22:18
we’re just interesting because I’ve been hearing the New York Yankees all day. So it seems like they are a true favorite if you are saying it, Jake, who do you think will win all

Jake Meyers 22:28
right, so I’m gonna go with Thomas’s format here. I’m gonna throw a couple sleepers in there and then I’ll tell you who I think is gonna take the cake. So I’m going to throw out my biased opinion out there. I think a lot of teams are sleeping on the Philadelphia Phillies I saw a prediction that they are going to go 30 and 30. And I just thought that number was low. I know it’s tough in the northeast with the teams that they have to play. But I really think at the Phillies, I think they’ll get in the wildcard spot. I really think they can make around Another sleeper team here. This is a deep sleeper, I think. But the Cincinnati Reds. Last year they had a very strong finish their lap to their season when all hope was lost. They they had a shot and made a small run to try and get into the postseason. Obviously they didn’t. But I think that momentum is going to carry over this year. And I’m telling you, I think they’re going to be the other wildcard team in that now, World Series. I’m going to go similar to Casa but slightly different. I think it’s going to be Yankees Dodgers, like cod said top to bottom things that both teams are stacked and ready to go for a run. I think I know we’ve been saying I know a lot of baseball people have been saying this for a while that hey, this is the year the Dodgers are going to do it. They’re going to do it. I believe this year the Los Angeles Dodgers are going to win the World Series over the New York Yankees.

Santiago Leon 23:54
That’s not a bad prediction. Everyone is saying Yankees now. I’m currently hearing like the LA Dodgers, cots? Um, there has been a few players opting out, is there any significance with that or they’re just, you know, mediocre players. Um,

Kyle Kotz 24:12
there’s been a few bigger names David Price was one to opt out use a bigger name. It hasn’t been any big big superstars. I think it has been some of the older players. And when I say older, they’re still young, but in sports terms, you know, mid 30s, veteran type of guys that have just been, you know, coming off of injury, and either haven’t had the opportunity to fully rehab given everything that’s going on, or just given what’s going on with COVID just seems like a smart move, to not opt into play this season. And a lot of people too are who are expected who are married or expecting children, things like that. So I mean, nothing to be ashamed about. I mean, they’re they got to put their health and safety first so but now not nobody to be there’s been a few But nothing that’s going to it have too big of an impact on the team’s

Santiago Leon 25:03
fellow one that I see that I recognize from the list I’m reading here is a Posey from the Giants Buster Posey, huh.

Kyle Kotz 25:11
Yeah, he’s a big name, but he’s a and he’s towards the sorts of down the downhill of his career. So, but he is a big name, but yeah, I don’t think the giants are

Santiago Leon 25:21
you guys are okay with it. Yeah. sleep over it, not God. But yeah, it’s it’s quite interesting. How this league is gonna start, you know, and we’re gonna play at their home stadiums really glad. The MLB is pushing forward. And what do you guys think? Do you guys think they’ll have some type of audience towards the end of the season or towards like the postseason? Maybe at least like 15% of the stadiums filled?

Kyle Kotz 25:47
I think we’ll be very lucky if something happens in the class. I think nothing in the regular season. But given where we’re at as a country, come class time, they might pivot and get Unless there might be some fans in there but I wouldn’t expect anything for the regular season I think our best hope for that would be come playoff time.

Santiago Leon 26:08
Yeah with the virus being so unpredictable because you know you can feel fine now but in two days like the whole steak could be you know, all spiked up so it’s very, it’s very unknown you can say when it comes to this pandemic, let’s go into predictions tonight. The first game of the night is Yankees at Nationals. Who do you got and give us a score?

Kyle Kotz 26:32
First, I’ll go first there I got a I got the NATS here. So I’m actually a big gambler too. So I okay. Yeah, so anyone out there who wants a I call them cots locks. This is a guaranteed lock. I got a pick up pick the Nationals on the money line tonight. Plus 150 to win the game. It’s great value there. I got the NATS win and I love Max scherzer although the Yankees again, we just picked them to go to the World Series. too, but I got the NATS tonight with their Ace on the bump. And for score prediction I’m gonna go let’s go five to NATS five to NATS world champions wins their opener. Jake, who do you got between the New Yorkers and the capitalists?

Jake Meyers 27:18
So, I am going with Gary Cole and the New York Yankees tonight over the Washington Nationals. As far as a score goes, I think it’s going to be a low scoring matchup. I think the hitters it’s going to take the hitters a little bit of time to kind of get going. I’m going to a barnburner of 221221 Wow, that’s a really boring night. But hey, it’s you know, it’s opening day so should be fine. Later on at 10pm. If cultus is awake, giants and Dodgers.

Kyle Kotz 27:52
This one’s a good one too. But this one’s Dodgers all the way claim Kershaw’s on the hill the night against giant quedo but Kershaw’s the superior guy there and that Dodgers lineup is just stacked giants lineup isn’t as filled out as the Dodgers, so I expect her shot to go seven maybe eight strong innings tonight. And I think this one could get a little ugly. I see. Let’s go eight to one Dodgers. Wow.

Santiago Leon 28:22
Wow. Well Jake say the same.

Jake Meyers 28:25
Um, so yeah, I’m going Dodgers to I’m going to go five to two.

Santiago Leon 28:30
Dive the two Dodgers interesting. Who is the best hitter in the sport right now.

Kyle Kotz 28:37
That’s easy for me if you want me to go first year, I’ve been Mike trout easy. Mike trout. It’s the as the best player, make sure it’s the best player. Head over heels. Someone else that I’m really a big fan on that I think is going to get there. I think he’s a superstar already is a guy out of Atlanta. Round Coons Jr. I’m a big fan of him. But still no one’s no one’s got what Chad’s got right now. So trout head or shoulders hitter player all around. He’s number one. Hopefully in a shortened season the angels can get him to the postseason, but I still think it’s going to be tough.

Santiago Leon 29:17
Jake, who is the best hitter my game right now?

Jake Meyers 29:20
I love my trout. I think Mike trout is the best hitter. I do like what cassata say though, Konya is definitely a rising star and definitely a guy that is gonna make some splashes. I mean, maybe he’s already made some splashes, but I’m telling you he when we look back at some or look forward to some seasons down the road, I think akoni is gonna be one of the best guys one of the top dudes

Santiago Leon 29:47
quite interesting. And what is your prediction? What will the SEC college football do this season?

Jake Meyers 29:55
I think sec. I think they will cave eventually. I think I think they will cave eventually and have a just the conference schedule. I think it’s the right thing to do. Everyone else is doing it. I know those southern states are a little bit more reluctant to close and put on restrictions. But I think the SEC will will eventually do it all just a just a conference season

Kyle Kotz 30:24
cut. I’m kinda in the same boat. And the reason why is I want to when you look at it from a scheduling standpoint, that SEC is big games are in conference. So those are the big the biggest games they play. Well, you look at like some of their non conference games. Yeah, I mean, it’s not like the big 10 the big 10. We lost a lot of, you know, big non conference matchups that we normally don’t get. sec teams. Maybe they play one big non conference game, but usually they’re playing cupcake teams like an Alabama and hammer something that they’re paying to play them so I could see them Going straight conferences as well this year just because those are your big games. Those are your bread butter games as long as you have those games as long as you have the bamas out and Auburn, Alabama and Auburn playing each other I mean those games, I think that’s what matters.

Jake Meyers 31:16
Yeah, so kind of go going off in Wisconsin saying that the only teams that really struggled or really um, are at not may not a disadvantage, but it’s kind of sad to see the non-conference go our teams like Florida and South Carolina because they and Georgia as well because they have a rivalry from a non conference game already built in their schedule. Florida’s gonna play Florida State Georgia plays Georgia Tech, and South Carolina will play Clemson and for those teams, those are those are strength of schedule builders for them. Now you also have the Alabama’s the LSU is the Auburn’s that will play a Lower Level power five or like contra saying where they pay a team to basically Up Up, up up on

Santiago Leon 32:08
so like Mercer?

Jake Meyers 32:09
Yeah like like Mercer, right? The Citadel. Yeah, like that. But yeah, some of these sec teams have already built in. So that is a little sad to see those rivalries go for a year. You know, especially for something like Georgia like old good old fashioned hate is what they call I mean that’s been going on for I mean hundreds of years.

Santiago Leon 32:33
something to definitely look at. We’ll find out in the next few days I believe we’ll know by next week. What will happen with sec they saved the best for last. What do you guys think about mike tyson facing Roy joins rose, Roy Jones Jr. and September

Kyle Kotz 32:51

Santiago Leon 32:55
four year old versus a 51 year old Not today. It’s gonna be interesting.

Kyle Kotz 33:00
We’re not I’m not I mean, I don’t fall boxing as much as I used to. But Mike Tyson, man, I mean, there’s been videos coming out from him the past couple months of him he’s still in ridiculous shape. Um, so the age thing was the one thing but then like you said, I thought off the top of my head. I thought Tyson was a lot older, but he’s not he’s not that much older than Roy Johnston. I was thinking that Yeah, three years has not been really so it’s gonna be interesting. So I don’t know I think any Tyson’s gonna go and they’ll get a knockout

Jake Meyers 33:30
and Jay say this I’ll say this that the the viewership of this fight is probably gonna be the most since McGregor vs. Mayweather Yep. I agree with that that big, but it’s it’s gonna be close because people just it’s Mike Tyson. And people

Santiago Leon 33:49
are gonna pay the bills. Yeah,

Jake Meyers 33:51
I know that also, on top of that, I think I think Nate Robinson is gonna box was it
