The Los Angeles Rams have claimed former No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield off waivers from the Carolina Panthers.
Mayfield, who was taken at the top of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, was released by the Panthers on Monday amid his first season in Carolina.
Former No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield was claimed on waivers today by the Los Angeles Rams, per league sources. The Rams now inherit the remaining $1.35 million on Mayfield’s contract.
