Stephen Curry is expected to be out through the All-Star break in mid-February with a left leg injury, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The Warriors are expected to be a better understanding on a timeline for a return in the coming days, sources said.
Curry was injured with 2:01 left in the third quarter of Saturday night’s win over the Mavericks after his left knee collided with Dallas’ McKinley Wright IV’s knee while Curry was defending him.
“Warriors are ‘hoping’ Stephen Curry (L knee) can return shortly after NBA All-Star break ends on Feb. 23.” (@MontePooleNBCS)
Steph would only miss just FIVE games if this plays out favorably. Very fortunate the all star break is coming up.
