Raptors fire Nick Nurse
The Toronto Raptors have fired head coach Nick Nurse, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Former Boston Celtics coach Ime Udoka is expected to be a serious candidate for the Raptors job, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

76ers go up 3-0 against Nets in series
With their 102-97 win over the Brooklyn Nets in Game 3 on Thursday night, the Philadelphia 76ers took a commanding 3-0 lead in the first round series between the two teams. The game was a wild one that featured a pair of ejections and plenty of drama.

Down 2-0 and playing in front of their home crowd, the Nets played a desperate brand of basketball that gave the game a hectic, frenetic feel. Tyrese Maxey led the way for Philadelphia with 25 points, three rebounds and three assists, while James Harden added 21 points, five rebounds and four assists before he was tossed late in the third quarter for elbowing Royce O’Neal in the groin.

Mikal Bridges paced Brooklyn with 26 points, six rebounds and five assists and Spencer Dinwiddie added 20 points and seven assists.

Warriors cruise to Game 3 win vs. Kings
With Draymond Green suspended and their backs against the wall in their first-round series against the Sacramento Kings, the Warriors pulled out a 114-97 win in Game 3 to avoid an 0-3 hole. Now down 2-1, they will play a pivotal Game 4 on Sunday (3:30 p.m. ET, ABC) in San Francisco.

Suns take 2-1 series lead against Clippers
Led by Devin Booker’s 45 points, the No. 4 seed Suns defeated the No. 5 seed Clippers in Game 3, 129-124. Kevin Durant added 28 points, six rebound, and five assists for the Suns in the victory, while Norman Powell (Playoff career-high 42 points) and Russell Westbrook (30 points, eight rebounds, 12 assists) combined for 72 points for the Clippers. The Suns lead this best-of-seven series, 2-1, with Game 4 taking place on Saturday, April 22 (3:30 p.m. ET, TNT).
