Canelo Alvarez is set to put his undisputed super middleweight championship on the line in a fight against Jermall Charlo on Sept. 16, sources told ESPN’s Mike Coppinger.
The 32-year-old also announced that he had a “done deal” to join Premier Boxing Champions. It’s expected to be a three-fight deal between PBC and Alvarez, Coppinger reports.
Alvarez had been with DAZN since 2018 after inking a five-year, $365-million contract with the streaming service.
