NL win first MLB All-Star Game since 2012

The National League is finally back on top.

Colorado Rockies catcher Elias Diaz crushed the game-winning, two-run homer off Baltimore Orioles reliever Felix Bautista in the eighth inning to give the NL All-Stars a 3-2 win over the American League at the 93rd Major League Baseball All-Star Game in Seattle.

The AL made things interesting in the ninth when Kyle Tucker and hometown favorite Julio Rodriguez drew consecutive walks to put the tying and winning runs on base. But the Philadelphia Phillies’ Craig Kimbrel finally shut the door by striking out Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez to seal the victory.
