The New York Jets and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams agreed to terms on a contract extension, the team announced Thursday.
New York didn’t reveal the terms of the agreement. Williams is signing a four-year, $96-million deal that includes $66 million guaranteed, sources told NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
The reported deal, which features a franchise record in guaranteed money, is the second-largest contract ever for a defensive tackle in average annual salary only behind Los Angeles Rams star Aaron Donald ($31.66 million).
