An MRI confirmed New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers will miss the rest of the season due to a torn Achilles suffered in Monday night’s win over the Buffalo Bills, sources told Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
The four-time MVP was carted off from his debut for the team after being hurt on a sack during New York’s opening drive of the game.
After the overtime victory, Jets head coach Robert Saleh said the team will roll with former No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson as its starter for the rest of the year.
