New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr is week-to-week with a sprained AC joint, head coach Dennis Allen confirmed Monday.
Allen did not close the door on Carr potentially playing in Week 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers despite the shoulder injury.
“I think we dodged a bullet there in terms of anything of real significance,” Allen told reporters. Allen added, “He felt better today than he did yesterday. So, we’re not making any decisions today. We’re not ruling anything out. We’ll see where he’s at as the week goes on.”
