Former Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor committed to Iowa on Saturday.
A 2023 five-star recruit, Proctor originally committed to Iowa in June 2022 before deciding to join Alabama instead in December that year. The Iowa native started all 13 games at left tackle for the Crimson Tide this past season en route to being named to the All-SEC freshman team. The 6-foot-6, 315-pounder was the second-ranked offensive tackle and No. 10 overall recruit of his class.
Proctor opted to leave Alabama following Nick Saban’s retirement on Jan 10. Several key Crimson Tide players have also entered the portal as the reining SEC champions transition to new head coach Kalen DeBoer.
