New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby will be re-evaluated in three weeks after undergoing surgery to remove a loose bone fragment from his right elbow, the team announced Thursday.
Anunoby missed the last five games due to the elbow issue.
The 26-year-old was traded to the Knicks from the Toronto Raptors in December. Since joining New York, Anunoby is averaging 15.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.8 steals, 1.5 assists, and 1.1 blocks. The Knicks have won 12 of their 14 games when the defensive specialist plays.
