Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid confirmed he will be back on the sideline when the 2025 regular season kicks off, according to Pro Football Talk’s Charean Williams.
Reid has racked up 301 career wins, including playoffs, which puts him fourth among NFL head coaches. He trails only George Halas (324 wins), Bill Belichick (333 wins), and Don Shula (347 wins) in all-time victories. However, Reid noted that’s “not part” of the reason why he keeps coaching.
“I just enjoy teaching,” Reid explained Tuesday. “I don’t get caught up much in the stats or the records. I enjoy being around the guys. I enjoy football, the game. You can’t put in the hours we do and not enjoy it. I love the game.”
Chiefs owner Clark Hunt said Monday night that he expected Reid to be back in 2025, according to Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post.
