The Miami Heat are acquiring guard Norman Powell from the Los Angeles Clippers in a three-team trade that also includes the Utah Jazz, sources told Shams Charania of ESPN.
Los Angeles reportedly receives forward John Collins in the deal, while forward Kevin Love, forward Kyle Anderson, and a 2027 Clippers second-round pick go to the Jazz.
Powell averaged a career-best 21.8 points with 3.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.2 steals over 32.6 minutes in 60 games during the 2024-25 season. The 10-year veteran moved into a starting role for the Clippers after finishing fourth in Sixth Man of the Year voting during the the 2022-23 and 2023-24 campaigns.
The 32-year-old is set to make over $20.4 million next season before being able to test free agency.
