Oregon quarterback Dante Moore, Miami wide receiver Malachi Toney, and Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy will feature on the cover of EA Sports College Football 27.
EA Sports said in a press release Tuesday that the cover celebrates “the next generation of football stars.” Moore passed for 3,565 yards and 30 touchdowns last season, while Lacy rushed for an SEC-leading 24 touchdowns, and Toney led the ACC in receptions (109), receiving yards (1,211), and receiving touchdowns (10).
The trio graces the third edition of the video game franchise since its return in July 2024. Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith and Alabama’s Ryan Williams were last year’s cover stars, while Travis Hunter, Quinn Ewers, and Donovan Edwards made the cover of the 2025 edition.
Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti, who led the Hoosiers to their first national championship last season, headlines the cover of CFB 27’s deluxe edition.
