I also think that, you know, the NFC should have nothing to lose, right. So he wants to show confidence in his team. He’s a great coach Washington. Snyder’s a terrible owner. Um, Washington is just can’t get it right. Whether it’s to Haskins the way they handled in the first year how they’re handling him again, I don’t know what’s going on, you know, rivers got to get a handle over it. So I could see him doing that because they need some type of wind momentum. Think about it. giants are half a game out. And they play a team today that can put them in the same in tie for first I first but to win. And the reason why we’re in this for the same reason they were a nine and five team. Right. I don’t know if you’re aware that dolphins announcing to us the starting quarterback taking over for Fitzpatrick, who fits Patrick did a great job already this year with the with the dolphins, but he also had a playoff run with the bills. So he’s done it before. It’s not like he hasn’t done it before. So you know, what are your thoughts on that?

Another question, good move. Because same thing happened to Eli when Eli was fine. He was a quarterback then Kurt Warner with Kurt Warner was a quarterback back in the day when he like came up. They had a winning record. I think they were like five and four, whatever their record was the giants and they made the move to Eli. And that’s when they tank that fan didn’t make the playoffs. But they did, you know, made the switch. I think it’s no good, you know, to put on too and now. I think they have a by next week. So you know get acclimated to though, you know, running off as being the guy now, but I thought it was a good move.

I thought I’m going with the opposite i think i think it was a dumb move. Um, and I don’t like the move when I like Brian floors as a coach because I think he’s done a good job. reason why I think it’s a bad move is one. Um, you got a chance at the NFL at the AFC East this year right now. You know, you don’t have a dominant Brady team to worry about. Second Brady left. Everybody in the AFC East was like, Yes, we got a shot. Right now buffalo looks good. But then they looked bad. Right. The Patriots are up and down and the dolphins are playing pretty good. Jets. Done. Right. finished working. All right, Richie. They’re done right in that right so I think it’s a bad move for that too. I would think they will get more experience with kid to watch a quarterback how to handle it. Go get it just to try to make it to a playoff. The next reason is the dolphins need success. They haven’t had any success. You’re taking a chance. Right? And Justin Herbert who’s doing fantastic right he came in because the guy got hurt. right he didn’t come in because he’s the rookie I’m paying I’m putting him in the only one who did was Joe burls right but that was expected right and if it’s Fitzpatrick was expecting to have to take over to take over but not being told one week right after the other and finding out like Dude, the news. for Okay, I can respect that. The only me being down here for over 20 years in South Florida, Damien, whatever success they can get. It’s not like you know, everything has been rebuilding no matter what quarterback they think they have. Look at 10 and him at tentative. Okay. Kenny antenna Hill, he was close to a Heisman and he was at a at Texas a&m, and they were producing quarterback, the quarterback, okay, um, and it didn’t happen then now they had different coaching. I like blaming Brian Flores, like I said, I’d love to I don’t get me wrong, I just sometimes you need that momentum of winning. You don’t I mean, like, you’re already there gives this fan something a chance to at least get in the playoffs to see it. You know, it’s tough enough with COVID that you can’t be in the fit in the stands, right? But at least you could be at home cheering your team on, you know, the dolphins needs some happiness. It’s not a terrible, you don’t try to like a team down here. I’m sure they don’t give a crap about like a lot, but isn’t terrible is the way they do it. So that’s why I think it’s a bad one, number one, number two, they had another number I don’t even know. They said Flores had a plan. So if this was part of his plan, then I gotta respect it. Right? And then the last thing I want to tell you from business. entrepreneurs have always told me, you know, every great idea started off as a dumb idea. There was saying you don’t have no idea. You know, I’ve talked to guys have built a company already had built an idea. And I go what happy goes, you know, and I believed in this, everyone thought I was stupid. I just kept going all of a sudden, everything hit and all of a sudden, oh my god, you’re the smartest guy in the world. How did you come up with it? Well, because everyone also has ideas. So this can be one of those ideas that you know you think is a dumb idea becomes a phenomenal idea. And if it does, you know, I wish to let them luck. And tool is nothing but a gentleman. I think it’s Patrick was gentlemen except for he said what he felt and I think he deserved to say it because people I believe people you know this better than anybody. People want to call it a sport when they feel they want to call it a sport. They want to call it a business when they feel they want to call it a business. Right? And you can’t if you’re going to call both of them then speak on both sides, but you can’t pick and choose based on what works for you. Right. And I thought that was a poor way of handling a business activity. And I think the way he responded was business right? It was business being upset but it was business and he had every right to say that because you know guys I’ve heard stories and Byron that a guy walks into a locker rooms get ready for practice and there’s a ticket his his lockers in.

My claim to fame was San Diego is that Philip Rivers I still think is a great quarterback but he put up phenomenal numbers there. So they have some type of system that if you’re a good quarterback, that’s why I thought Brady was gonna go there. This is if you take Phillips out rivers out and you put Brady in his rivers puts up 50 60,000 yards Brady’s gonna line it up. Yeah, so that’s that’s how I looked at it. Right? Look, he went to Philly. He still Philip Rivers, right just couldn’t get past where he needed to get past.

Justin Herbert was close to being a New York giant if he came back, you know if he hadn’t come off yet it came out instead of going back to schools in here. They were big. But if you come in here, you know what, all nonsense and whatever you brought from wherever you were, that you know, it’s going to be issue here. And you know, Pete Carroll has been the head coach there for a while. So he’s got a lot of respect. He’s won a Super Bowl. So yeah, when I was at Minnesota, he was the defensive back coach. He’s really good guy. But I’m pretty sure you know, he has a firm hand on his locker room, and he probably has his leadership crew that he goes to when they happen, you know, thinking about getting people like this.

Jamison is what Jamison was doing now? Now they’re not right but in the beginning so I didn’t really realize that he I didn’t realize that he had did all that work with those quarterbacks.

And that’s just the way he’s always been like that he’s not gonna change even with Andre.

That’s pretty impressive. stable. number one. Number two, I kind of like, you know, I’d have no problem when he called out Brady or he didn’t even I don’t think he called him out. He just said he didn’t play well. And that’s how we practice it. Right. And they made a big deal about it. And then they made a big thing about Brady yelling at his team and look what they did to Aaron Rodgers team. Right? No One No One makes a comment about that. Right and, and I want to see them do well, that defense plays like that. You get that kid back you got you get that quarterback who you get the running back back. Who did who did they just pick up Tampa Bay? They picked for net for net? Yeah, but he’s hurt, right? Yeah.

And then I’m like, okay, but why is she talking about Brian Flores? It’s a great job into a lousy organization. I mean, last year, they wanted to take like, someone wants to thank this year. Last year, they were saying take and the player, he was like, no players were saying, Hey, I don’t want to play like that. florists did an okay job last year, getting them out of where they want. Now, they’re doing pretty good. I just kind of feel like, you know, it’s one thing, you know, making a point. And I think there’s some validity to it about selection of coaching. But you also gotta like give them props when they’re doing what you do. You can’t give them jobs. Just give me the job. What to do? Well give them junk.

Were supposed to bring it up minority coach to, you know, to interview and Byron Leftwich, who’s on the staff of Tampa Bay Didn’t you know get the look that he should have an Arabic be enemy? I guess what camp can’t him as well. And you know what, him they were sitting there saying that he didn’t call the plays for Kansas City. But yeah, he’s a title offensive coordinator. But it’s really Andy Reid. That’s the problem with the rule because you got all you know, a lot of those teams go you know, circumvent the rules where they you know, they bring in the black coach now Oh, yeah, well, we interview but they’re gonna turn around they’re gonna hire you know, somebody else, you know, even like with Joe judge, you know, he was a special teams. special teams coach, so, but why did they bring Byron Leftwich or why did they bring ariffin fbme or any other black coat you know Leslie Frazier never got another chance she got cold Well that was a head coach. Detroit lie he never got another chance Why did these guys get another chance? I don’t know they bring him in I you know we did that we’re gonna hire this guy anyway and they’re just circumvent the rules

But but that even gives me more reasons to say and we will start wrapping this up it gives me more reasons to say when there is a minority coach and he’s doing well to bring that to light a lot more in a sound I mean it gets it’s almost like the black quarterback remember back then. Right? And and now you’re talking about all these great quarterbacks is no longer talking about a black quarterback or not. It’s talking about a quarterback. Right? Okay. But the only reason that happens is you get talking about how good these guys were getting and they were getting and I see these guys meaning athletes, not a black players, and you listen, it’s no different than Heisman Trophy, right. You have a great guy at a conference that’s not being seen a lot, has a lot less chances than a major conference that’s being on TV fault. Right. So all I’m saying is that, you know, try to highlight like, I’m happy with the selection of tyloo for the clippers. I’m glad he went there and then the Houston. Right. But then, you know, there was an issue with Steve Nash going to Brooklyn. And Steve Nash was already a product development coach for the Golden State Warriors for three. We’re champions, right, and he’s a point guard all the Brooklyn Nets. And at least he was working the Brooklyn Nets hired, Jason Kidd, right after he retired

And the thing is that you need more coaches in the in the college ranks, and you need more coaches in the high schools. That’s what happens. It starts all the way down.

But it’s even worse at the college level. You know, you got 100 120, you know, division one schools, you’ve maybe have five African American coaches. This is terrible at that level two.

Yeah. I mean, hopefully they can continue to fix it. All right, we talked about that. The last thing I want to say because we’ve got rather than up is there’s a defensive back, I think his name is marshals, right. And, or Florida State, our state one beat us etc. to say yes, if baby and I were hard to say hat. So what happened was this kid that announcer is um, is he was covering a defense, an offensive player, right? golden golden Tate goes, lets you go to school or go to golden Tate something 770 nice, seven, seven. So let’s get back Marshalls is playing this receiver, right. And he’s playing receiver returns. And he’s looking for the ball. And the receivers are good for the ball and one announces man, there’s a lot of physical contact there and no call was made. And then the second announcing, you know, said the right thing, he goes, Well, there’s no physical contact, he had his head turned, right. And he’s going for the ball. So, you know, when I played right as defensive back, the one, one thing I was always taught, or I did was, as soon as I see that guy’s eyes light up, put my hands where his hands are, and immediately swivel my head around. Because the second I turned my head around towards the ball, I now become a receiver. Right? And the defensive back rules go out the window. Now it’s any guys ball. If I turn my head back, neck and receiver, it’s a problem. Right? But if I stay with a receiver, now it’s jump ball. It’s roughing for the ball, you know, that first announced and it realized that a second answer did but then my question to us in the pros. It’s there’s so much better athletes faster. There’s so bad as a defensive back to turn their head around.

I have a feeling is I just made me that pro level that just so fast that if you do turn your head, because if you turn your head too early, the distance between you and the receiver to separate fast balls through farther you’re dead. right you got that’s why I like to put my hands where his hands are first.
