I tried to I I think my knowledge is more you know, being able to relate to my college knowledge and hopefully translate it to what I know about the NBA so I don’t plan on knowing what’s going to go on tonight because the one thing about the NBA draft is you team especially this cycle, we don’t even know a lot of the workouts that went on so we really don’t know who’s interested in who and who so a lot. If you look at mock drafts that got after the first couple of pics, you know everybody’s kind of off the wall because no one really can feel out what’s going to go on you know and and this is really the start of a crazy you know, we have some trades go you know, trades being offered up here and feels worked out, you know, which can officially go on and thing I believe until right after the draft kind of the NBA season begins, you know, with the hopes of starting up in December. So you’re going to see a lot of free agency. Tonight’s is really the kickoff of crazy, I would say two weeks of the NBA, where you’re gonna see some wheeling and dealing so it’s gonna be a fun night and fun couple weeks.

The William and Dylan is definitely making love noise especially with the New York Knicks a team that’s very familiar with the NBA draft and hopefully they have three draft picks tonight in the first round. Same for the Boston Celtics. So they will make a splash tonight. This would be very, very crucial, especially for the Knicks for the future of their organization and their franchise. Tonight is the NBA draft a pm on ESPN. The favorite is lamella ball. But I’ve been hearing Ryan that Anthony Edwards might go into that number one spot

According to Vegas Vegas is betting the Anthony Edwards will be number one.

Yeah, I think what you’re gonna get Edwards is a surefire player, you know, unfortunately, in this draft, and most every other NBA Draft, you know, your marquee players are seeing college. You know, the players have been around a couple of years. They don’t want to get drafted high. The one thing about the you know, we look at the NFL Draft Joe burrow successful season last year, translate in one text, you know, anything Edwards had a so so, you know, freshman year at Georgia, you know, as he came in as a number one high school player, you know, so it kind of makes sense. He’ll be the number one draft pick this year, because this potential tie, you know, he just didn’t put you know, 40 minutes good basketball together. But you know, he’s strong, he’s athletic. At times, he takes over games, you know, great score. Not a great defender, but that kind of comes in time you know, and, and this will be pressed hard into him in the NBA. But what you’re not going to get in this draft. I don’t think you’re going to get a franchise player. At least right now. I don’t see anybody you know.

So this is not a 2003 NBA Draft or a 1984 NBA Draft. Absolutely not.

For me if somebody surprises me it’s going to be apparently all star and I’m pot you know, and I think that’s going to be an Anthony Edwards. So that’s why you’ve got to take them number one.

Let’s do it. Number one, the Minnesota Timberwolves 18. That one’s own. Kevin Garnett. They had a couple players after that, including Derrick Rose. Who do you have going to Minnesota Timberwolves in 21 previous

previous mentioned freshmen Edwards. He’s, you know, good post player, like I said, songs for him is not a good defender right now as well, but a player you can build around. You know, I know they got, you know, Karl Anthony towns, but I think, you know, Edwards could be a player, you know, find himself closer to basketball and towns, you know, his ability to shoot the three ball has gone forward, you know, he’s a, find yourself farther away from the basketball. So I think this is, this is a kind of a good situation for the Timberwolves.

Anthony Edwards is a shooting guard from Georgia, the Georgia Bulldogs, a team, a school that Ryan’s very familiar with. Now, keep in mind, guys lamella ball is in a lot of mock drafts. He is the brother of the other ball brothers corner Ryan. He’s one of the best ones, but we’ll see what Ryan, you know, hasn’t landed. Second Team in the draft tonight. Ryan Krista is the Golden State Warriors, a team that won the NBA championship about two years ago. They’re in the draft I haven’t seen I haven’t seen them like this early in a while. I see James Wiseman. powerport from Memphis, which is hard to put them there because I think he played just a handful games before he decided playing college. Basketball wasn’t for him and he was just gonna work on his NBA game. So not a lot of footage on him. You know, but he’s a you know, an awesome athlete. A lot of potential. I see it. You know, I can see him being the next day. I’m abajo. Santiago. That’s kind of where my comparison happens with him.

James Wiseman is from Memphis. He’s power forward center. A big dude. Is that what Golden State really needs right now.

Yeah, cuz Fandango. This is a very, I mean, what else? Whatever. You’ve gone from one of the worst teams in the league last year. Because of injuries, you lose stuff, you lose play. And now you’re bringing in you know, you got you. So now you’re gonna bring back those two players. You know, Wiggins, they got trying prime Minnesota in that, you know, trade for DeAngelo Russell, and now and now you got this hybrid optics. So, yes, it makes sense to go after their big guy.

Yeah, I definitely guy who’s definitely a prospect and one of the people if you can hit on him, you know he’s a starter for years. He’s also got the ability to flop and never translate into the NBA but I think the potential here is too great to miss out. So I’m gonna have him go into the Hornets.

Then he avoided the job as I said before is from Maccabi Tel Aviv has professional experience. he’s a he’s a small for power forward. So definitely a great potential for the Hornets. As Ryan and I were talking I’ll fair this morning. The international players have have a whole lot of weight this past couple years. So for sure, looking internationally is something that’s considered in the NBA Draft. Let’s go to number four Chicago Bulls, a team that was owned by one of the greatest Not only but he played there Michael Jordan a team that needs to be revived hired a new coach this past offseason. Ryan Krista, who will be the lucky gentlemen to perhaps takes this franchise to the next level.

This is where I find your find your forementioned ball so yeah, Ernie yeah and you know and I you know, they got Kobe white from UNC last year and he had lamella ball I think you got two players are interchangeable power you know shooting guard. point guard. You know, America is gone, you know, like MBA or college decided to go to Australia to play professionally last year I had a good season shows flashes, I think he’s a better overall put overall score and Lonzo but I don’t think he’s got the ball handling and abrasion, Alonzo can have on invest days but I think an overall better prospects in loans or so. But there’s still a little bit of unknown. The type of talent you see in the Australian Pro League is not high, per se, but I think he showed glimpses enough to be able to come over to the NBA and have success you know, and I think this is a good building piece, you know, to build around.

Staying in the state of Ohio I’m gonna go with the Dayton flyers own Obi toppin I think this guy can he’s my favorite player in the draft. You know, because this is a guy who once a mid major, worked hard and really was the best player in college basketball last year from start to finish. very athletic, you know, a great path, you know, a big runner the core reminds me of a young Omari Stottlemyre.

This is where I think I was debating a couple of different things but I am going to go with I think Tyrese countless him from Iowa State of big point guard Six, five. So you got Trey on there? Yeah, I think the idea is that get Trey young so he doesn’t have to have the ball in his hands all the time. A player he can run off screen so you got a good young point guard in there. And I think that’s going to have they definitely would trades if the draft picks up in a foreign court. So I think you know, the idea of maybe the next book and they’re like you’re an A wacko from USC seems ideal here. You know, in a sense of being the best talent but I think Tyrese Talbot herberton is the best fit.

I’m gonna take a ringer on this Santiago. I’m gonna go off the board a little bit. Definitely. I you know, there might be better players. But there might be sizing they absolutely need a point guard Santiago again. I you know, that they don’t have you can it’s hard to win in the NBA without a point guard like trying to win. And then I bought a quarterback. And I think this guy, he’s got the potential. Not there didn’t play consistent all the time. But, you know, I think you see glimpses of what he can do. And that’s Kara Lewis from Alabama. Speed San Diego and I think I think that’ll translate to the NBA game. And I here’s the thing, I think they’re they don’t have the assets to go and trade for Russell Westbrook. So you’ve got to build in within the draft and I think this is where you gonna find you know, the keys for the future the team and and that’s what i think you know, they’re gonna take a flyer on a guy and I think this is Kara Lewis coming off the board.

This will compliment RJ Barrett who got drafted last year by the New York Knicks at the third pick. We’ll see if that will come true. Kier Lewis Jr. A player that Justin Riley really admires he played for Alabama. So that will be an interesting pick. We’ll see how it goes. Number nine the Washington Wizards a team that Michael Jordan once played in Ryan who was going to DC

one thing that was don’t do an S play defense and versatile guy who can play defense of many different positions especially Isaac a coral from the Auburn Tigers thing new thing in the state of Alabama. So yeah, I think this guy use a small for power for by The Guardian center, even though he’s under a size, even keel. He got a lot of different positions. Not a consistent score. Probably. At the NBA you you want to put out a guy you can score. But you also I think the problem with the wizards is you know, they got Bradley Beal still got john wall. The problem is they can’t stop anybody. And I think this guy will come in right away and added, you know, a defensive mindset to the team.

I think they need a wing they need a versatility so I’m gonna go with you know you need somebody that you know you got Paul, you got Booker on the offer and Devin vessel you know a guy who can compliment McHale bridges out there from Florida stay here. He’s a typical Florida State wing you know, play say he’s got a history. The last several years of bringing these players to kind of all look the same 6768 crazy athletic, can run up a core, you know, high flyers and I think that’s what it can do. Because when your players learn how to play defense, I think again, the team their music be consistent on defense. You’ll definitely add that you know, I don’t think he’s going to add the offensive punch right now, but I don’t think they need that because they got plenty of often, I think a defensive stopper to bring you know, wow. 15

This is where I’m going to go international. You know the Spurs have a history with a guard from France. I think they started another history with one with Killian Hayes, point guard from France. There’s a lot to develop, but there’s also a lot of potential just like a guy named Tony Parker, who they drafted years ago was an unfinished product. So Nadine Cornerstone this franchise for a long time. I think, you know pop understands the point guard can do that, you know they got married Jonathan Murray who’s good. But I think that with Mary and Hayes in the back corner, they can be a dynamic duo.

This is a tough one. A lot of them are tough, but I’m going to go again. In the NBA, it’s all about potential. And I’m gonna go past and say, you know, I just said, you know, all the flow to say players look the same. Well, you know, Williams a facial, they look the same, you know?

So, you know, that will improve their defense but I think they’re in the front office, they’re always like to find that next offensive punch. Again, he went to Australia, you know, like he didn’t have this quite the success and all that over there. But I think this is I can’t miss prospect. Who right now one day 28 points score, but he got the potential you know, to be that Lou Williams off the bench and can just shoot the ball. Yeah. And I think anytime you can find a player like that in the middle of the first round, you have no choice but to take them.
