Don’t tell Aaron Rodgers the lack of capacity crowds in a pandemic will limit the Green Bay Packers’ home-field advantage in the NFC championship game.
He’s been waiting too long for this moment to have any such negative thoughts.
Rodgers threw two touchdown passes and also ran for a score as the top-seeded Green Bay Packers beat the Los Angeles Rams 32-18 in an NFC divisional playoff game Saturday. He will play a conference championship game at home for the first time since taking over as Green Bay’s starting quarterback in 2008.

In what was supposed to be a showdown between Buffalo’s Josh Allen and Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson, Taron Johnson literally stole the show.
If not for the wall separating the field from the stands in the back of the east end zone, the Bills cornerback might still be running after returning an interception 101 yards for a touchdown that propelled Buffalo to its first AFC championship game appearance in 27 years.
Johnson’s pick-6 of Jackson’s pass with 41 seconds remaining in the third quarter helped secure a 17-3 win over the Ravens in a divisional-round playoff game Saturday night.
Jackson, last season’s NFL MVP, was sacked three times and did not return after sustaining a concussion following the final play of the third quarter, and two plays after Johnson scored. He finished 14 of 24 for 162 yards passing, while being limited to 42 yards rushing on nine carries.
Allen, an MVP candidate this year, finished 23 of 37 for 206 yards and a touchdown.
Browns-Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs had lost Patrick Mahomes to a concussion and were in danger of losing the game.
Then their defense and Chad Henne — their defense and Chad Henne?! — along with a gutsy call by Andy Reid kept their hopes of a Super Bowl repeat alive, holding off the Cleveland Browns 22-17 on Sunday to advance to their third straight AFC championship game.
With their star quarterback reduced to a spectator, the oft-forgotten bunch opposite Mahomes’ high-powered offense forced the Browns to punt in the waning minutes. Then, his 35-year-old backup showed some moxie with a 13-yard third-down scramble and audacious fourth-down completion to Tyreek Hill — when go-for-broke Reid decided to go for it — that gave the Chiefs (15-2) a first down with just over a minute left and allowed them to run out the clock.
Baker Mayfield threw for 204 yards with a touchdown and a pick for the Browns (12-6), who were coming off their first playoff win since the 1994 season. But their inability to drive for the winning touchdown — they punted with 4:23 left in the game — and defensive letdown kept them from winning two playoff games in a season for the first time since 1950.
Bucs-Saints
Tom Brady’s best game in three tries against New Orleans kept the Buccaneers moving on in the NFL playoffs, and has Saints quarterback Drew Brees headed home — perhaps for good.
Brady and the Bucs’ offense turned three of four Saints turnovers into touchdowns and Tampa Bay beat New Orleans 30-20 in the divisional round of the playoffs Sunday night.
Two of those touchdowns came on short passes to Mike Evans and Leonard Fournette. And after linebacker Devin White snagged the second of thee interceptions thrown by Brees, Brady drove the Bucs to the 1, from where he scored himself with 4:57 left to virtually ensure his 14th trip to a conference championship game — his first in the NFC.

Yeah, the packers are just too much there. I mean, they just look awesome right now. And the Rams have major problems especially at quarterback sounds like golf might not be around much longer.

I thought it was I mean, it was the game that I thought when as expected. I didn’t expect the Rams to win this game. I don’t think many people out there did. Aaron Rodgers is just looking so great right now. And I mean Aaron Rodgers is definitely the MVP. I think in my prediction, he’s gonna win MVP for this year.

It’s crazy like I work at like a place where they sell like food at like a restaurant type place and like the amount of people that when got food before the game and like was just it was just outstanding. This is a really big thing for buffalo right now. They’re doing awesome and like I honestly thought the Ravens are gonna put up more of a fight like Lamar Jackson did go down but like the bills just shut them down. And like their bills, defenses looking really really good right now they have a lot of key assets. And Josh Allen like it’s gonna be a challenge but I think Josh Allen is like the future of Buffalo.

I mean, it wasn’t like your neck spectacular Josh Allen where we see him throw for like four touchdowns over 300 yards. But like, what I was telling my dad like Josh Allen, he went in there, he got the job done. He definitely Next week, we’ll probably talk about later. He definitely asked him to step it up against Kansas City though.

And talking about Kansas City, the browns and the Chiefs the first game on Sunday. They were leaving most of the way. And then Patrick mahomes also suffered a concussion. But the Chiefs were able to pull off the game 22 to 17 and of course events into the AFC Championship game, Joe where we thought over this game, of course it was kind of close. But the Chiefs had that game under control.

Wow. I was I was expecting this to be a blowout by the chiefs. I can’t believe it. Was that close? Yeah. mahomes getting hurt really. Really could have messed things up. But Chad henne really came through and the guts on Andy Reid to go for it on that fourth down was Chad henne when they look like they were just trying to draw them off slides was amazing. But yeah, Jet Chad had he really came through for them. This easily could have been a win by Cleveland. I give him all the credit for keeping it close. But uh Wow. Just the Chiefs really showed something there. For

Honestly, like as a bills fan, we would have loved to see the bills played the Browns want the Browns win because it would have been crucial because the bills would have had another playoff I mean another home playoff game, which the bills are almost unstoppable at home. And like it would have just been nice to see a familiar face like a space that we haven’t seen in a while. Like I want to be like I’m a huge bill fan, but if the Browns face the bills in the AFC Championship, of course I’d want the bills but I wouldn’t really mind if the Browns won because it would just be so great to see a team has never made Sumo before being the Super Bowl. I thought the Browns they could have easily won they had that nice interception from Chad henne that he threw in the ends on Cleveland took over and I thought that was amazing but they just couldn’t capitalize and that one huge play. That the referees definitely missed was that one touchdown that went like it was like fumble the ends on was a touchback but it was like a helmet to helmet hit, which the rest totally missed on that one.

You know I give them all the credit in the world they they beat the Steelers up real good in the playoffs so hats off to them. They have a lot to build on. You know they have a strong offensive line a strong running game if they could get their defense better. And Baker Mayfield I’m not real high on him but he’s good enough. So yeah, they have a bright future.

that game was a very good game yesterday and honestly, what lost the game for the saints was Drew Brees, he’s all those interceptions he threw that’s what lost the game for them. Like because I believe one of them was the pick six or lead to a touchdown. Drew Brees, it definitely lost the game for the saints, the saints. If it wasn’t for the interceptions, I think it would have gone the other way.

Yeah, Brady didn’t have you know, he didn’t have a great game, but he didn’t need to. They did it with running and defense. And hey, it’s that’s that’s all you need. Yeah, we’ve seen this before. I mean, what is the 14th different championship game for for Tom Brady, which is just absolutely sick. But uh, yeah, like Chandler said Drew Brees gave away this game. He’s it’s time it’s time to retire man.

It’s like Chandler said Winston does not Exactly have a great track record so we’ll see if he is a starting guy. I don’t know that that can be a little scary.

I know Kansas City are probably the favorites. But can buffalo pull this off?

But if mahomes does play this week, he will probably not have any days to practice this week. He’s probably gonna be coming in with almost no practice and not be able to work with this team all week, which I think is I mean, obviously it’s Patrick mahomes. Which is he’s amazing guy, but I think that’s really gonna hurt him and I think buffalo right now. They got the they’re still gonna have a lot of fans that show up to Kansas City. I guarantee they’re gonna have some people that still show up to the game, even though it’s not gonna be homefield advantage for them. I think they’re still gonna bring the crowd. No matter how many people come in. I just think, obviously Kansas City’s favorite. Yes, but I think buffalo they’re just so high right now. And I think this is their time this this is the year I’m calling buffalo.

No offense to the browns, but the bills would would mop the floor with the browns. Yeah, yeah, it’s still the browns. So I, I think I mean, I’m just I just I just have a feeling it’s gonna be the bills that the chiefs are. I don’t know if I could say a word of the Chiefs that would be overrated right now.
