Drew Brees entered Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers with a cracked rib. He left with more bumps, bruises and breaks.
The New Orleans Saints quarterback has multiple rib fractures and is dealing with a lung issue following their win over San Francisco. Brees was pulled at halftime for Jameis Winston.
As of now, the Saints are not considering placing Brees on injured reserve, which would require him to miss at least three games.
