Author: Justin Riley

I am a 2003 graduate from the University of Alabama with a degree in Exercise Science. While at the Capstone, I served as a student assistant with the head strength and conditioning coach of the Crimson Tide football team. I have competed in both powerlifting and bodybuilding for several years. In addition, I have served athletes and people through the arena of personal training. Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I am a passionate fan of Alabama, but do not make other fan bases miserable because of it. College football has my heart first, but I cover all areas of sports. Follow me on Twitter: @justinriley7!

In the community of Town Creek, Alabama, football is more than an activity. It’s a way of life. One might go so far as to say that learning to play the game came before taking your first steps. It was an activity not limited to one particular season. Instead, for young men growing up in…

Dreams of Crimson: The Story of Alabama’s Rudy Griffin

Posted on June 18, 2020June 19, 2020 by Justin Riley

I can still hear the chords play from the soundtrack of the movie “Rudy” in my mind. This movie mesmerized me the moment I first watched it. I connected with Rudy Ruettiger instantly. His mission closely resembled mine growing up. Instead of Notre Dame being my team of choice, it was the Alabama Crimson Tide….

Forgiveness: A Lesson from Vince Lombardi to Bill Curry

Posted on June 11, 2020July 6, 2020 by Justin Riley

Forgiveness. It’s one of the simplest concepts. However, the execution of it, coupled with grace is one of the hardest to carry out.
