The Sports World resumes today, but not every sports league but one that is the biggest in America: The NFL. Business as usual as the NFL decided not to postpone business, and the NFL Draft is still on, but won’t be in Vegas.
Dallas Cowboys Franchise Tag Dak Prescott
The Dallas Cowboys have placed the exclusive franchise tag on Dak Prescott. The ultimate goal remains to have the quarterback signed to a long-term contract.
With the move, the Cowboys now have until July 15 to work out a long-term deal. If no deal is reached, Prescott will have to play the 2020 season on the tag and the sides can go through the same dance next offseason.

Devonta Freeman being released by the Falcons
Freeman is being released after six seasons in Atlanta. The former fourth-round pick will hope to join a team in need of a veteran presence at the RB position. There, Graziano It was like business as usual. It was just like a regular Monday compared to this past weekend where a lot of people were, you know, kind of self quarantine or staying away from from the outside world and staying inside with their loved ones. But today felt a little bit different feel back to normal, fresh a breath of life a little bit. But let’s get started. Today is the first day of free agency, which begins within this hour, but we had a few players resigning with their teams and we’ll start with this one. The biggest ones is the Cowboys franchising Prescott. Of course, the Dallas Cowboys had been in in a negotiation with Dak Prescott for the past couple months for a long term contract. They tagged them so they extend his his situation a year longer. We’ll probably hear more stuff next year. Right What are your thoughts about the Cowboys putting tag on Prescott? Well

I would like them to see it use it on Mr. Cooper but yeah I mean this thing of Dak Prescott Is he really worth all the money that he’s demanding? Is he good? Yes The the top of the line no so it’s kind of this you know the I guess the Cowboys are doing this more or less I think to delay his free agency obviously you know, he’s now you kind of gives you more time to sign a long term deal and kind of puts more pressure that you know, will be done or you know, he’s going to pay a fine So, let’s play around here because I’m sure that CBA that they’re gonna eliminate. franchise tag is that a really that is, that’s a big one for The owners don’t have the franchise back but now they’re kind of putting their money into the next he he does sign a franchise that’s a lot of money because now you’re paying them the average value of the top five quarterback so you’re still looking at a big paycheck. Even if it’s for one year. I, you know, from a player’s perspective after what, that’s different three years yeah, I thought quarterbacks definitely want to be better when it’s time to franchise tech because you kind of you lose a lot of your leverage as a player when you’re trying to frantic like, because if you get hurt this year, and you have no long term deal, you’re out, you know, hundreds of millions of metalia that every he signed us a three year deal with the franchise tag number, you know, and he’d be guaranteed most a lot of money in that contract. So he’s, you know, the team gets a lot of leverage under the franchise tag.

So when you got playmakers like Landry and Beckham on the outside, it’s always great to have a guy who can catch the ball in the middle and that’s what Austin Hooper will do for whether he has another I don’t think he obviously doesn’t come with the baggage that you know Beckham does and Landry to extend so hopefully it’s a good timing for the rounds and they definitely need that

He’s efficient. His numbers don’t really stand out. You know, he’s never he never makes those wild plays always but he just was a winner. You know, when you put a good defense behind them and a good running game, there’s really you know, he’s one of the best quarterbacks in NFL because he doesn’t throw interceptions. You know, he he’s smart with the ball gets the ball to the playmakers you know, you just you just know what you get for cousins in the NFL you Yeah, he’s not you know, I don’t think he’s in a top echelon but he’s definitely going to push over a hump and if anything shows that the game against the saints a shade or you know everybody else played You know, he kind of wrote everybody else’s level of nonsense. So next level, unable to beat the saints.

Again, this is kind of, you know, having you know, I think that some paranoia is you know, saying they’re postponing it, but kind of the thing they’re figuring things out, whether that means invalid to them as of May, when you’d have that draft in April or May It doesn’t really matter but you know it’s a big event and you don’t want it to kind of seem cheesy but you know he’s want it to be something you know that the players you know earned the right to have a good draft but you know, but we got to do what they got to do times or whatever different right now.

Yeah, like the dates will not be moved but I will definitely like to see it like an ESPN or Fox. You know, just having like, you know, they’ll like will announce the draft picks on set, I guess from Bristol.

Roger Goodell just announces it and then they have, you know, cameras at the highest pick, but, you know, for the first night you know, the camera or whatever, and these people are at their living rooms at live parties, but that’s probably sticking do right now.

And, you know, we got a team that can go to the sweet 16 you know, today, you know, two days later with your canceling fans, and the next three days later, we got the tournament’s off. It’s just everything’s moving 100 miles an hour, you know, I think April is one of my you know, favorite times cuz you guys are both NHL NBA playoff baseball you know, and that’s all gone but you know, in the whole grand scheme of things if we can stop stop this from spreading You know, this is what we got to do you got to do you know, I have tickets you know to go next week to watch the NCAA Tournament had to take the you know in April of my first ever game in Madison Square Garden and then go watch the Mavericks play two days later at Barclays Center. So it’s kind of a you know, disappointed that it hasn’t taken away but again, that’s why it’s you know, and get to spend more time you know, instead of this you can, you know, getting saved for Selection Sunday, you know, I got to play tons of basketball was my throughout this weekend, you know, so that’s awesome, you know, quality time, which will have live the next couple months you know, it’s it’s tough as a sports fan, but you know, Just makes you think there’s so much more to this world than just work so yeah.

Yeah I mean for sure it makes you realize how things are. You know how things are was really busy during the springtime and I’ll you know a lot of things were happening with with not just the NBA but college basketball but the best part. They have a protocol and they cut and they actually and that would make the blocker the winner because as you said that is supposedly but you know, I think they’ve kind of just Quietly said they’ll just won’t be a winner, you know, you know, I think, you know, it’s probably for the right move, you know, I would have liked them see release a bracket, only for the fact that you know, there’s a lot of teams that work their butts off, you know, and I Penn State soccer teams that hadn’t been in the tournament in years, you know, seniors that work hard to have that moment for their name. We went by Greg Gumbel, and then I couldn’t get that that’s kind of a sidebar. So, everybody’s kind of had, you know, take a step back here. So,
