Jeff Fawver 1:12
Show Santiago Thank you.
Chandler Christa 1:13
Appreciate it.
Santiago Leon 1:15
And Chandler Chandler hasn’t been back in the sport cast for about six months, right?
Chandler Christa 1:19
Yeah, it’s been a while.
Santiago Leon 1:21
And Ryan Krista is worried about Alabama tomorrow
Ryan Christa 1:25
aren’t very much so but I feel really good. I got my I got my Dan Mullen fix. pumped up press conference yesterday. I’m feeling good for the Gators, even after that disastrous game last Saturday. But
Santiago Leon 1:39
you know, but you guys had a good recruiting week, didn’t you?
Ryan Christa 1:43
We did good. We got we didn’t steal anybody on recruiting day, but we didn’t lose anybody. So it was solid.
Santiago Leon 1:50
Number eight in the composite. And Jeff Farber, the the Chiefs did not face a mighty miracle situation. They pulled it out. But you’re feeling confident.
Jeff Fawver 2:01
The Chiefs when they play the game are gonna be tough to beat. But uh, the you know, the thing that kept that game from continuing to be a blowout was the turnovers. And that’s the one thing no matter who you are, normally, normally, if you turn the ball over four times, you lose the game. Like it’s pretty rare. For anyone, no matter how good you are, if you turn the ball over four times, you lose the game more often than not. So that would be my only concern. But yeah, I mean, they still look good overall. And I don’t want this to sound arrogant, but there are times where they almost I can’t call it boredom. Because that’s I don’t think it’s boredom. But they just they get out to so many leads is, it just seems like almost every game at some point, they jump out to a big lead. And they’re just so confident in their ability to close games that they kind of have these laws, and they haven’t finished games the best the last couple weeks. But yeah, if you’re a chiefs fan, you should still feel really good about where they are and what they’re doing right now.
Santiago Leon 3:03
And of course, Steelers lost two in a row Chandler how significant is that? For the chiefs and the Steelers and maybe the bill’s
Chandler Christa 3:12
I would say it’s pretty big for the Steelers, because like I’ve been saying this all year. I think the Steelers are overrated because if you look at their schedule they played. They haven’t really beat anyone that good like they’ve or the refs have helped them out during the game, so I don’t think they’re all like what they say they are.
Santiago Leon 3:28
Ryan. Yeah, go ahead, Jeff. Go ahead.
Jeff Fawver 3:30
I was just gonna say the biggest thing with the Steelers is even even the decent teams that they’ve beat. If you look at the quarterbacks they’ve played so the Steeler I’m not saying the Steelers defense isn’t really good, because I think it is when they’re healthy. But look at the quarterbacks they’ve played, um, you know, they played Ryan tannehill early in the year and they played deshaun Watson early in the year, they really haven’t played anyone that can test you from the pocket until they played Josh Allen. And we saw what happened there. I mean, they in the second half, Josh Allen did whatever he wanted to do. And I understand the Steelers defenses beat up now too. But I think you know, I I tend to agree with Chandler. I think they were overrated a bit because they haven’t played anyone that could beat you from the pocket.
Santiago Leon 4:16
Ryan Krista or the Steelers overrated but maybe beating the Titans wasn’t wasn’t good enough.
Ryan Christa 4:24
I don’t know they’re quote unquote, overrated. I don’t think anybody’s been affected by scheduling. revisions more than the Steelers and a lot of it’s not of their own problems, more or less the other teams even going back to the Titans game got moved from way back and begin the year. And then with the Ravens game getting moved and forcing the game with the Redskins getting moved. I mean, they ended up playing what three games in such a short amount of time and I think they’re just fatigued like, they don’t look like they have the same amount of energy and now dealing with their own You know, people missing due to COVID and injuries, it’s showing, I don’t know if they’re overrated or they’ve just hit the wall. Well, they’re definitely not the same team that you know I saw at the beginning of the year. But when you’re led by veteran quarterbacks, like Roethlisberger, I think they can turn it on when they have to, and might not be good enough to beat the Chiefs or even the bills at their best. But I think there definitely will be a hard out in the playoffs.
Santiago Leon 5:28
Of course, the playoffs are coming up in a few weeks, a quarterback that led a team last night was Justin Herbert. And I think he passed the NFL says yesterday, defeating the Las Vegas Raiders 30 to 27 in overtime, even with even with Marcos Mario to actually play yesterday. Jeff, what was your first reaction when you saw that? And how did you see Mariota?
Jeff Fawver 5:56
Yeah, I mean, Mario to played well, I mean, I don’t know how you can watch him play. Coming in cold not expecting the play. I thought he played I mean, he made some plays really, um, the one that sticks out to me is the fourth down throw deep in chargers territory that that led to a touchdown.
Now, you know,
we’ve seen this before, though, right? I mean, Mario has always been capable of playing one good game. He’s a backup for a reason, you know, so I don’t think it’s, there’s any long term ramifications there except for maybe the rest of this year if car is out the next couple weeks. But the chart, you know, the Chargers, if they could just if NFL games were only three quarters, they might be a playoff team. But their end of game, like even though they won yesterday, after the Chris Harris interception, you know, so Mario through the through the pick in the red zone, and Harris ran it back deep into Raiders territory, they run the ball twice, and then run a play action pass that, you know, the Raiders didn’t buy at all and Herbert got sacked. And I look at it and I say you know you have Herbert who’s played so well for I mean, not just yesterday but he’s been aside from the New England game or belcheck just you know, had him standing on his head. He’s look great most of this year. And you have to trust your quarterback if you if you if you’re playing the wind the game, running the ball twice and then putting him in a tough situation. I you know, and especially when you know your kicker like they would never say this your kicker stinks. You know, he missed eight kicks going into yesterday. I think he missed two more if I’m not mistaken. Oh, yeah. So you know, your kickers not reliable but yet you’re settling for a 51 yard field goal. I thought they should have just put the ball in Herbert’s hands, you know, put, you get that interception run the ball once if you have to, to make the Raiders use a timeout and then you know what, trust your quarterback? I know he’s a rookie, but he’s probably your best player on offense. Trust your quarterback to put the game away. They ultimately ended up winning. But they did everything they could to try to give that back to Las Vegas.
Santiago Leon 8:11
Ryan, Chris, do you trust Justin Herbert?
Ryan Christa 8:14
I trust Justin hurt by way of just Jeff I don’t trust Anthony Nolan. I think time after time. Yeah, like Jeff said, it seemed like they’re always in position in the fourth quarter to win the game. But there’s a reason why. You know what they got four or five I can’t remember four or five wins is because you know, the end of the game execution, you know, just general coaching things that may get lost in the scope of a game but Anthea Lin seems to come short on money or these coaching decisions but if you’re a chargers fan you’ve got to be impressed with this rookie you know, his poise you know and a and that’s the connection he’s got with Keenan Allen right now is good and Mike Williams you know, they got to find a consistency in the running game because I think the continue to trust her but to win game in and game out with his arm it’s going to be tough, but in the future looks bright. And I think you know, you look back at this year and you say what could have been but again, what you’re getting out of rookie quarterback is more than what you expected. So I it’s all another thing as a successful year and I will be interesting to see where the management goes. With regards Anthony Lin and the future of the organization.
Santiago Leon 9:32
Chandler you have the last word from the Chargers vs. Raiders. I
Chandler Christa 9:38
mean, I personally thought that game was more important for the Raiders, which they lost because I think they’re probably out of playoff contention. Now they were coming into the game. There was a must win game for them and they kind of blew it towards the end. So I think they’re out of the playoff contention now.
Santiago Leon 9:53
JOHN Ryan crystal What? What was the deal with Jon Gruden wearing a vintage Raiders hat or something?
Ryan Christa 9:58
That was we that was weird. I don’t know he just grabbed the wrong hat or why to even have an Oakland Raiders have but I’m pretty sure the NFL doesn’t want him to be wearing an Oakland Raiders hat on the sideline. So
Santiago Leon 10:12
he rules a lot, Jeff.
Ryan Christa 10:15
Yeah, girl,
I don’t
you know Jon Gruden does what Jon Gruden wants to do and I really have no idea of the inside information and now that in the NFL probably frowned upon now the halftime when they found out and made sure he had the right hat on in the second half.
Santiago Leon 10:36
Well, anyways, Raiders are still in playoff contention, I believe but they got to win out. And of course, I believe charges are kind of out already. Pretty much So
Ryan Christa 10:44
yeah, that was that was last night was just a big night for the dolphins winning further. proving their chance. So so. And the Ravens and ravens Exactly, yeah.
Santiago Leon 10:54
Anyways, let’s start. Let us start with the NFL week. 15 predictions. Let’s start off with Tampa at Atlanta, Jeff Farber. Tom Brady had a good weekend last weekend. Tom Brady is known as Mr. December. Atlanta should be a win. Who do you got?
Jeff Fawver 11:19
Tampa, Tampa will win. But the Falcons are another one of those teams that if you look at the you know, if you just looked at the record, you say they stink, right. But the Falcons have kept a lot of games close. And they’ve they’ve been similar to the Chargers in a way that especially early in the year, they just could not close the game to save their life. So I think it’ll be a little bit closer than what people expect. And you know, Brady, Brady’s been up and down this year, which is to be expected for an older quarterback. But I would I still think you know, Tampa Bay will win by a touchdown. It’ll be a game that maybe at times it looks like the Buccaneers don’t have control, but I think their defense will actually be the difference. Matt Ryan is you know, he’s a good quarterback. But Tampa when their defense is playing well can really make life difficult. And I think that it’ll be like a 27 to 21 type game.
Santiago Leon 12:16
Oh, excuse me. I’m Chandler Krista. You’re a tom brady fan. What’s gonna happen in Atlanta at 1pm on Fox?
Chandler Christa 12:25
I’m I mean, the Patriots, not the Patriots. The Buccaneers. I think they’re going to pull away with it. I mean, Tom Brady, like we said is Mr. December and this is a big game they need to win so I could see the Buccaneers coming out. I want to say 3528
Santiago Leon 12:42
Ryan, Krista, will we see a Scottie Miller touchdown.
Ryan Christa 12:47
horse is the new title man. I guys always tell you each week now, I don’t know exactly. You know, if the Falcons will keep a close you know, when you get to the end this season, you don’t have much to play for. It’s always the guys in the back. Which team you know, like Jeff said the Falcons have a lot of talent. And that can be able to compete, keep the game competitive, or you know, they could just mail it in and say and we’re ready for next year. The Buccaneers have everything to play for and since the you know, moved our playoff position so I’m gonna Yeah, definitely said the Buccaneers won this game.
Santiago Leon 13:27
Everyone picks Tampa let’s go with Jeff Jacksonville at Baltimore Ravens seems like the Ravens are kind of coming back again. Are we going to see a blow out here?
Jeff Fawver 13:39
Probably. I mean, so the Ravens have had their ups and downs but they’re kind of getting back to running the ball but and
in that and that game against I
know Cleveland’s defenses beat up and they’ve struggled but Lord Jackson finally made those plays down the field that you want to see him make. So on the fourth down play that they converted I think every person in the building and every person watching at home thought he was going to take off and run and they made the throw them up to Hollywood Brown. Now that doesn’t change how I feel about the Ravens long term, but I think they’re gonna end up with a playoff spot. I do I think the Ravens are gonna end up in the playoffs. And if we’re lucky, it’ll be the two seed Steelers versus the seven seed ravens and we’ll get to see those two teams you know, try to rip each other souls out one more time. Right. win by two touchdowns against the Jaguars.
Santiago Leon 14:32
Ryan Do you agree? Do you think the both of the Ravens will win by two touchdowns or more or less?
Ryan Christa 14:38
Oh, definitely more than two touchdowns I think that like they’re coming on to their own you know last week I think a big confidence booster for Lamar Jackson in there the Ravens in general disapprove you know that they are good team and they were the team that we thought they were because the bronze gave him everything wanting to add more and show that the Browns are good team. That was just the hype. Have a good football game you know? Yesterday was a good football team between two average football teams I think Monday night was a good football game between two good football teams you know I think there’s a difference in that but getting to see Mr. Jackson get outside the pocket run that offense last two weeks where it’s run first pass second. Getting back to what they do and I think they’re keeping even though they’re running the ball good or keeping the other team off balance I think there’s a there’s a period in the middle of the year where I think the Ravens became very predictable in their play calling and they’re running plays this it seems like the last couple weeks skins of rounds and cowboys they’ve been able to diverse their running game a little bit more and keep the other team off balance with the threat of the past. So I guess I think their opponent being the Jaguars is not going to be much of a game other than the biggest thing though. Taken away. It’s a more confidence for Lamar Jackson and ravens. Chandler Krista.
Santiago Leon 15:59
Last week they the bench Mike. Mike Glennon, the Jaguars they’re going to start probably garden Minshew I believe, well, Jackson will have a chance or you’re gonna choose the Ravens.
Chandler Christa 16:10
I mean, I do love garden Minshew. I think he’s a great quarterback but there’s no chance that the Jaguars are gonna beat Lamar Jackson and the hot ravens right now.
Santiago Leon 16:18
No upset there. Jeff San Francisco at Dallas Dallas last chance to make the playoffs. They’re
Jeff Fawver 16:27
the 40 Niners in the games, I’ve seen them play the 40 Niners have hung tough. I mean, the niners and Broncos are probably the two most beat up teams in the entire NFL, and the nine are still battle. So I like the niners and I think it’ll you know be a seven to 10 point spread.
Santiago Leon 16:45
Chandler Who do you got San Francisco at the Cowboys a classic 80s rivalry.
Chandler Christa 16:51
I am a huge Cowboys fan. So I have to go with my team. I think I mean, the Dallas. Yeah, you’re right. They do still have a chance to the playoffs. I think it’s like four or 5% right now. But I mean, like, I’m gonna go with the Cowboys. I think they’re gonna pull off this one because, look, I’m in San Francisco is pretty hairy. Now the grapple out Kittles out, so I think Dallas is gonna pull up a good game.
Santiago Leon 17:13
Ryan, are you gonna pick Dallas? Are you gonna pick the Reds?
Ryan Christa 17:17
That 40 Niners?
Santiago Leon 17:18
Yeah,
Ryan Christa 17:19
um, I’m gonna go the 49 I just think there. It’d be 49 I’ve seen this better than most any cowboys team so it’s gonna go with the 49 years old in the game.
Santiago Leon 17:35
It’s gonna be a sloppy game. Anyways, Houston, Indianapolis. Houston. Could be a spoiler. Jeff, who do you got
Jeff Fawver 17:43
in these plans to well right now, there. Now I think India’s defense has taken a step back but their running game is really coming along and they have a really good offensive line that Texas do. The Texans defense is just a mess at the moment. So I think now we’ll be closed because it’s a division game and Watson will make plays because he always does. But the Colts will win the cultural run by a touchdown.
Santiago Leon 18:09
Rank Krista are you I know you’re a Phil rivers fan? Can he do it against Watson?
Ryan Christa 18:15
My fellow No I am not a Philip Rivers fan that’s for sure back from his days the Chargers quarterback I’m sure me being a Broncos fan Jeff being a chiefs fan I think we have Phil wheel towards Phillip rivers and everything you stands for No, I I think back to the mat. The shouting matches between him and Jay Cutler on the sidelines it just never sat well with me as a Broncos fan. But that things that I think the Colts fell bevers will definitely Nicholas will handle this game.
Santiago Leon 18:49
Chandler I know you’re watching fan who do you got?
Chandler Christa 18:53
Um, surprisingly, I do love to Shaun Watson. Yes. But like you have to go the philip rivers in the Colts. This game is way more important for them. I think Philip Rivers is just going to go out and throw some touchdowns and win this game.
Santiago Leon 19:05
No chance for Houston and Houston has Watson and I know they have a few of the receivers injured but it could happen. New England at Miami I think a game that Miami could actually I mean, guaranteed win. Ryan who who you got for this matchup?
Ryan Christa 19:23
Yeah, I’m gonna go to your hometown Miami Dolphins and yeah, you
Santiago Leon 19:26
should I think you should
Ryan Christa 19:30
even though I think that even though they lost to the Chiefs on Sunday, the defense showed a lot you know what it can be and I think as long as I keep that momentum going limit the big plays I think that’s what killed him and so he said the big plays I gave up and to just keeps on getting a little better each game you know, this. Obviously they’re not championship contenders this year, but making the playoffs would be a big step in the right direction, and kind of cemented Brian Flores is the next Bell, Bella check. Maybe we’ll see
Santiago Leon 20:01
crysta Who do you got in Miami?
Chandler Christa 20:04
I like Ryan, I have to deal with Miami this week. They did lose the Chiefs last week, but I think they’re gonna bounce back. And I think they’re gonna manhandle the Patriots.
Santiago Leon 20:12
Too far a Patriots are in trouble. I think I believe this would be a playoff contention matchup Do you think New England has a chance or you think Miami has has some momentum coming in?
Jeff Fawver 20:26
Miami has been playing great. So I’m not trying to discredit them. But the only thing that concerns me when I look at the matchup is you have belcheck versus a rookie quarterback. And then the dolphins at the I don’t know who else playing and who isn’t for sure. But by the end of the game against the chiefs, they were down both receivers and their tight end. That’s all I mean, that’s asking a lot of to to be able to make plays with that cast of characters. And belcheck. The thing about him is he’s going to take what you want to do the most, and he’s going to get rid of it. He’s not going to allow you to do that. So it so if those guys play for Miami, I think they’ll have just enough to pull it out. Because I think they’ll get they’ll get Cam Newton to turn the ball over. But if kiseki and Parker don’t play, I have to leave with the Patriots.
Santiago Leon 21:17
patriots in insight analysis from Jeff foster a good one. NFC North Chicago and Minnesota Chandler Christa. Who do you have at the Vikings stadium?
Chandler Christa 21:29
Oh, this is a tough one. I think I’m probably gonna have to go with Mexico in Chicago here. They started off the season really good. They’ve been playing not the best recently. But I mean, I think they can win against their division rival. I think Chicago definitely could win this game. I think it would mean a lot for them. I just hate Minnesota too.
Santiago Leon 21:47
So Ryan Christie, who will be the quarterback for this match.
Ryan Christa 21:52
For the I think,
Santiago Leon 21:54
Minnesota I mean for Chicago.
Ryan Christa 21:57
I think there’s gonna be Mitch trubisky. I haven’t heard differently, but you might be right.
Santiago Leon 22:02
And we’ll help them help them win against Minnesota.
Ryan Christa 22:06
Well, I mean, he’s been playing better the last couple weeks Minnesota. I mean, who knows what to expect from them weekend and week out. You know, they started bad and they’re hot, and then they had some bad losses. So I think if everything plays out normal, I think the Vikings should win this game.
Santiago Leon 22:24
Far. Minnesota has been spiking a little bit this past couple of weeks. Kirk Cousins doing okay, what do you got from this matchup?
Jeff Fawver 22:34
I lean towards the Vikings too. So it’s always hard because I think the bears defense is the single best unit in the game. But trubisky I just don’t trust trubisky to continue to play well, I think it’ll turn the ball over. And when you turn it over, eventually your defense wears down so and the Vikings them trading digs is turned into one of the rare win wins. Because they went out and got Jefferson who’s been awesome and digs has been great in Buffalo. But the Vikings still have plenty of weapons, that if you give them enough chances they’re gonna score. And I think the Vikings will win as well.
Santiago Leon 23:15
Let’s stick with Jeff Detroit at the Titans last week. There Camry ran over 200 yards. Will he do it again against Detroit in his home stadium?
Jeff Fawver 23:26
I think I think he will. And Derrick Henry got hot at the end of last year too. If you remember right, going into the playoffs, he kind of carried the Titans. And then he carried that into the first couple rounds of the playoffs. Well, I mean, right till the AFC Championship where they finally lost. And I think I think he’s getting hot again at the right time and they lean on him, you know, he wears people down. So and this could be one that gets away a little bit. Just because even though the Titans defense isn’t necessarily great. The Titans offense is going to put a lot of pressure on Detroit, their offense to keep pace. So I like the I like the Titans by touchdown or so.
Santiago Leon 24:07
Ryan krisna are you seeing the same thing for the Titans are they’re blossoming at the right time?
Ryan Christa 24:11
Absolutely. Fan Titans ins are good. They run the ball good. plaxen fake and Ryan tannehill. The AJ Brown. This is a dynamic team as you can be dynamic being a run first team. Like just said the defensive head our mess for the tight ends. Most times it’s been a mess lately. It seems like they’re not going against the Jaguars. But I think this they’ll have enough offense to beat the lions and Derrick Henry needs to average 156 yards in the next three games. They have another 2000 yard season which would be a heck of accomplishment for him and the Titans and you know, in this, especially in this present day NFL it seems to be a past Firstly, to have that back. You know Have another 2000 yard season it’d be awesome for them. But yes, the Titans during this game I believe,
Santiago Leon 25:05
Chandler Christa, Detroit, Tennessee. Are you seeing the same as Jeff and Ryan? Yeah, I’m
Chandler Christa 25:10
gonna have to go with Tennessee in this one. I think Derrick Henry is definitely, I would say the best running back in the NFL right now. He’s obviously proved it with all of his yards and all that he’s doing. So I’m definitely gonna go with a Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans for this game. Jeff Seattle
Santiago Leon 25:27
at Washington Washington has won two games in a row. And they’re hot right now. Seattle is too hot as well. Can we see an upset?
Jeff Fawver 25:40
Think we could because the last time Seattle had the the game against the giants. They got out physical up front. And even though Washington certainly has their limitations there their defensive line as a problem for pretty much anybody. Their defensive line is really really strong. The Seattle defense although it’s not the train wreck, it was early in the year, they’re still gonna give up some plays. So even though I think Russell Wilson is awesome. I like I like Washington. I think Washington’s gonna ride the momentum and they’re gonna keep winning.
Santiago Leon 26:15
Chandler, Seattle, Washington, this could be a toss up. Who do you have?
Chandler Christa 26:21
Oh, I’m definitely gonna have to go with realschule Wilson in the Seattle Seahawks. Russell Wilson, I think is just doing very, very well this season. He’s in the contention for the MVP, and I just I think they’re just going to manhandle Washington I also cannot stay in Washington has been a Cowboys fan. So like I think Seattle in this game.
Santiago Leon 26:42
Ryan can Seattle win in Washington or in chase young
Ryan Christa 26:47
I always see something and chase young and I would be something if I was the opposing quarterback just like Russell Wilson can make sure that man gets blocked that team you know that the Redskins are in house Washington football club. And you know they’re playing well you know, especially they’re writing our momentum of the win against the Steelers a couple weeks ago it’s gonna be a tough game and I i mean nine sets as the Seahawks should win this game but when go like Jeff’s go and go the Washington football cup to you know keep their playoff hopes alive with a win
Santiago Leon 27:27
the Washington football team and I hope they stick with it. Name. Jalen hertz Ryan Krista had their had his first win last week after his his first game replaced in Carson Wentz. Can you see this continuing in Maricopa County, Arizona.
Ryan Christa 27:47
Well, that this is a battle of Oklahoma University transfer quarterbacks here. You might call Geez, I can’t even think of the coach’s name I’m just like, what’s going on? I’m like,
Santiago Leon 28:06
Oh, right. Lincoln
Ryan Christa 28:07
Riley. Lincoln. Riley Yeah, Riley balls.
Santiago Leon 28:10
I’m gonna say bill o’reilly.
Ryan Christa 28:11
Lincoln. Lincoln Riley. Well here is he turned both quarterbacks and to run first quarterback sick and throw the ball. You know, well, but I think the Cardinals The game is a little more for them. But I think the Eagles season you know they got the win the other week against the saints to make the playoffs. It’s going to be tough. Cardinals are right into the thick of the playoff chase right now and I think the game means more and against Kyler Murray and the Cardinals get the victory.
Santiago Leon 28:42
Jana Krista, please say Philadelphia.
Chandler Christa 28:46
Oh, heck no. I’m, I’m definitely I mean, Jalen hertz has been playing really good. I think he’s really legit. I personally think next year he’s going to be the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles. And I think Carson Wentz is going to go elsewhere. I mean, I love Kyler Murray and especially after what they did, and when DeAndre Hopkins did against buffalo a couple weeks ago, the miracle end zone catch. I have to go to Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals.
Santiago Leon 29:13
Jeff, how do you see this matchup?
Jeff Fawver 29:16
Going eagles and it’s nothing too technical. It’s just the simple fact that changing to hurts. Seemed to reinvigorate the Eagles. And look, they’re beat up. They’re like hanging on by a thread. And Doug Peterson is just gonna have them ready to play. They’re gonna play a good game.
Santiago Leon 29:36
They’re gonna win. Ryan and you’re that?
Ryan Christa 29:40
Yeah, you love Jalen hertz Santiago.
Santiago Leon 29:43
I don’t know why like Jalen hurts because
Ryan Christa 29:45
you love Alabama.
Santiago Leon 29:46
Maybe
Chandler Christa 29:48
you went to Oklahoma. I mean, that could be it. Alabama is no good.
Santiago Leon 29:52
Another walk in the park possibly the Jets at the LA Rams, Jeff. You could have a one word answer or you already You can elaborate.
Jeff Fawver 30:01
Yeah. Rams
Santiago Leon 30:05
Chandler
Chandler Christa 30:07
rims.
Ryan Christa 30:08
Ryan Krista I’m gonna Yeah, I mean anything else without you should abolish them for coming on the sports cast. Yeah, yeah.
Chandler Christa 30:18
I think next year the Jets are gonna get Trevor Lawrence and they’re gonna be they’re gonna win maybe two games. Wow, maybe
Santiago Leon 30:28
what will happen to Adam gays Jeff you think he’s out on like Monday or Sunday? I don’t think the farm after one year we interesting Ryan
Ryan Christa 30:42
Oh I yeah I don’t know I don’t know it’s a second year isn’t it? I think
Santiago Leon 30:49
it is a second season. Yeah,
Ryan Christa 30:50
I think yeah, I think he’s I think he’s out I think they’re just letting them ride it out but when you when you’re going to draft the franchise quarterback like it looks like they are I want to bring in the coach you know, so they kind of paired together so I think they’ll look elsewhere after Dr.
Chandler Christa 31:10
Candler, I think he’s definitely going to be out of there because like, they’re on pace to being an Owen 16 team and you can’t be around in the NFL if
Santiago Leon 31:20
you’re just going to go like that. If I were to coach Greg Williams a few weeks ago, so we’ll see how things continue in the Meadowlands Kansas City at the saints Jeff fire this might be the game of the day and maybe the weekend um, it’s Drew Brees is starting is confirmed this morning. What do you think’s gonna happen
Jeff Fawver 31:43
the Chiefs offensive lines really been beat up and it’s kind of started to get to them and this might be the game that the the dam breaks a little bit so and then the other thing is Drew Brees if he had it his way would never throw more than seven yards down the field. And sure enough, I think a lot of people say that’s how you attack the Chiefs throw it to the runningback throw it to the tight end get matched up on their linebackers. So I still think the chiefs are gonna win because mahomes will do something crazy.
Santiago Leon 32:17
Ryan Krista Drew Brees coming coming back this weekend? Would that make a difference? Can the saints have a better shot of winning this game?
Ryan Christa 32:26
I mean, I obviously didn’t play while at taysom Hill last week which as hell have been playing well before that. Early like just that you know, the the chiefs are coaching close to losing last couple weeks, but they find a way to win. If you’re gonna say they’re gonna lose a game we probably began to sayings but again Do you ever really go against Patrick mahomes Probably not. So yes, I got the cheese. Chandler Krista
Santiago Leon 32:53
Are you gonna shoot the Chiefs or you can choose the saints winning at home?
Chandler Christa 32:58
With the saints they’re playing in New Orleans?
Santiago Leon 33:01
Yeah, saints. Yeah.
Chandler Christa 33:03
I mean, I Patrick mahomes and the Chiefs they got something magical going on in Kansas City like they just you just can’t describe how good they’re playing right now. I mean, Drew Brees is back but is he gonna really be 100% after just been out for a couple games? Probably not. So I have to go the chiefs and patch mountains
Santiago Leon 33:23
and city wins in New Orleans. There’s no doubt there at all Cleveland Browns at the Giants Jeff Farber what’s going to happen in the Meadowlands call McCoy
Jeff Fawver 33:32
might be started it’s gonna be an ugly game, just from the standpoint of the giants are pretty good up front and the Browns want to run the ball. So I think it could be an ugly game but I like the brown. I know as long as they don’t get caught up in the you know, the emotional highs and lows of losing that game that’s really tough to lose. I think they’re going to be okay, I thought they showed a lot of good things in that game even though it didn’t turn out in their favor. And if they get that version of Baker Mayfield that that can make a couple place. I like the Browns I think the one
Santiago Leon 34:07
Chan man who you got in New York.
Chandler Christa 34:10
I am a huge I mean I like the Browns I should say the Browns are doing very well. After that ugly loss they had last week against it was just a bad game against Baltimore. But I think the Browns are gonna come back and beat the giants. I can’t stand the giants. I don’t know. Their quarterback situation is just terrible right now. And I don’t think the giants are going to go anywhere. So I’m gonna go with the Cleveland Browns. This will definitely help because this is a game they need to win for the playoffs.
Santiago Leon 34:40
Ryan Krista was once a Colt McCoy fan. Do you think he can do it against the Browns?
Ryan Christa 34:45
I don’t know if I was that Colt McCoy fan but I respect his ability has over overachieving. This being I think five foot 10 but I also don’t think the Browns had a bagging jammer is very big game against the Ravens Yeah,
Chandler Christa 35:03
you’re right you’re right.
Ryan Christa 35:05
It was a good game. But yeah, I think you know, did it have effective losing f you know going against you know quote unquote lesser opponent you know but the Giants absolutely needs this game too so yeah I think it will be a slugfest like Jeff said because I think the Giants do stop the run well and like what you know when they want to they can play great defense like they they against the Seahawks a couple weeks ago so yes, I’m gonna go the Browns gonna win this game because I just think they’re just a better football team and ended
Santiago Leon 35:36
the day and there you have it. That is our week 15 NFL predictions and it’s gonna be a good weekend. I a few clinchers of course, but I guess the you know, a couple of new things we’re gonna see this weekend Drew Brees coming back after a couple of rib injuries. But yeah, we got two more weekends after this weekend. And of course the COVID protocols have been following through before we end the show Ryan Krista give us a preview of college football this weekend. I know Florida plays Alabama and I believe Florida has Florida has to win in order in order to get into the playoffs what how? How we be seeing this
Ryan Christa 36:20
so yes, this is championship we can so you have you know tonight you have the PAC 12 championship which really doesn’t even know USC is undefeated doesn’t really have championship applications. You have the big 10 championship with Ohio State Northwestern tomorrow, Ohio State waves it looks like they’re gonna be an even though they’ve only played five games and this will be number six. And then you have the big one at four o’clock which in Clemson and Notre Dame. Most experts save Clemson wins in a split with Notre Dame that both teams will get into the playoffs. And with that being said then you have Alabama Florida Florida coming off a loss LSU last week in a crazy game. Which kind of really took them out of the playoffs even if they win it doesn’t look like those still good in and shake up between Ohio State and and if Notre Dame does B comes in, you know maybe they sneak in if they went but beating Alabama in itself is me. Very difficult you know, Florida will be able to score it’s just a matter of Florida’s can be able to get stops against this Alabama vaunted offensive Matt Jones and to be honest j Smith and nyjah Harris you know, weapons all over the field but contrast is had the single greatest season and throwing a football threat in Florida football history, which is saying a lot with the likes of quarterbacks like Tim Tebow, Danny wuerffel Rex Grossman, you know, the season has had been unbelievable. I just don’t know if it’s gonna be enough to beat Alabama. But I’m gonna say it’s gonna come down to the wire and Go Gators. Anyways, we
Santiago Leon 37:57
got to close the show soon. Guys. I know it’s Christmas is our last Friday show before Christmas. Tell us what is what? Which? Well, first, rephrase this question. What? Which ugly sweater has been the best you’ve seen so far? Anyone from the three?
